never complained about saad not being a point per game player at all. i never ***** about that with any players (take note some of my fav players are 3rd and 4th liners because the majority play with limited skill levels but high intensity..thats what I like most from hockey players as i relate to that). his issue was he was a perimeter player and was shy to go to the net until the kings series which he was outstanding in. its always been his greatest fault but now that he has learnt how important it is the kid has me excited. im not the only one who had issues with that even the head coach has been on record with that complaint with saad. if he can carry over what he learnt in the kings series then saad has the potential to actually be a key cog. if he goes back to that perimeter shit only..yah ill complain again.

This isn't to say I don't like point a game players and don't think they are valuable, obviously I do think they are.

He's a possession monster, he showed that before the playoffs even began. He improved in pretty much every way he could during this past season from an already very good (and compressed at that) rookie season. Every teammate he played with showed improvement when they played with him versus when he wasn't on their line. And that was his first full season in the NHL.Sure as hell didn't look like it though.

If Q ever again dares to dream big enough to put that Saad-Toews-Kane line back together, that line could easily be the best in the league. Or Saad-Toews-Hossa.
