He's actually looked good in preseason. Full summer to rehab his knee looks like it helped.

It's preseason and he's playing against mostly AHL level talent. And you can't cure stupid.</p>

He just sucks. He sucked in 2010 too, but was surrounded by so much talent it didn't matter. He's a stupid fucking hockey player. He was pretty much the only guy on that 2010 team I was glad to see gone.</p>

I think his decision making is bad, but the guy put up a point every other game playing for some real shitty teams. I also didn't think he was that bad his 1st go round with the Hawks. Definitely not top 6.


An aside, but I think he would be better off using a shorter stick. The one he uses has to be almost the same height as his off ice. Might free up his hands and move the puck quicker.

But Carcillo doesn't really bother me. He has skill and can be a decent energy guy when he concentrates on hockey. Hopefully he'll do that instead of getting suspended and doing other stupid shit. Way better than Bollig if a "punchman" is wanted. Also the players apparently asked to get someone like Carcillo to add toughness to the lineup.</p>
