The eras are too hard to compare to each other.

If we're playing with 90's rules, I think the Bulls absolutely crush Golden State. If we're playing in modern day rules, I think things are harder for the 96 Bulls. but it should be noted that a guy like Jordan will have a easier time scoring as well.

Why do people feel the need to invalidate what teams accomplish by trying to compare them?

The homers are strong. As time has gone on, the 95-96 Bulls have grew into mythical proportion. Hysterical.

Oh and no matter how much tougher the game was in the 90's. Jordan has been getting touch fouls and getting away with push offs since about 91. That wouldn't change. Also, why do people think GS is soft? They play within today's rule. Draymon Green would fit in quite nicely in the 90's. Also, the Bulls have never come close to seeing the shooting display that GS puts on. No one has. They just beat an incredibly talented and incredibly coach team by 30.

Golden state is playing insane, but there is a reason there is a 7 game series. I'm not denying they are good, but I'm going to wait to annoint them GOAT until they can do this for four times.

Im hoping for an epic 7 game series with SA. I am not anointing GS the GOAT. Im just pointing out that people are ridiculous to not realize this is one of the best basketball teams we will ever see and no team in history would crush them.

i was at the grizz/magic game last night. I swear every game I go to jeff green goes off. he had 30 last night including the bucket at the buzzer to force OT. he can make things look so easy at times...would like the idea of seeing him in a bulls uni at the trade deadline or in FA

You'd need to go to all 82 games then because he still averages but 11 points on 42% shooting. He's as inconsistent as the rest of this roster despite his talents.

I know it. my friends here all say the same thing. the guy has more natural talent though than the majority of the players currently on the bulls roster. if only we had a coach capable of getting the most out of his players....

I don't doubt Thibs could get the most of your boy for sure. It's been that way his whole career though, so much physical talent, but he can't seem to get it all together consistently.

no doubt....but also when you factor in SF is our weakest position he makes a lot of sense

I think he'd help more than he'd hurt definitely, but with the inconsistency and the erratic outside shooting, he'd be not as much help as he could be. But I suppose that's obvious. Too bad we can't just have like a defensive Jimmy and an offensive Jimmy to pair on the wings.

somebody seems to like their jimmys lol

he is having a bad 3 point shooting year, hes a career 34% shooter from there though so hes typically somewhat decent. I like the idea of butler and green as our wings...his length can give people problems. he can even play the 4 spot in small ball lineups if that's how fred wants to play it. he runs the court well and is great in transition, which I think would play well in hoibergs system.

lol I mean I'd take James Harden or Klay Thompson or Kawhi Leonard too. I just consider Jimmy to be the best 2 way player of the bunch by a smidge over Leonard. Preference though, I think a couple years back I was saying Klay was the best two way SG over Jimmy. Either way, yeah I think Green could help and he's definitely an upgrade over what we have. I just don't think he'd put us over the top or be a huge difference maker.

You think Butler is better than Leornard both ways? I don't see that. I think Leonard is vastly under rated still. The guy is a monster. He just plays in a system that he doesn't have to do it every night. This is hating on butler cause he is up there but Leornard is a true number 1

I wouldn't take harden, but the other guys you named id love to have. that said, those guys aren't available and wont be any time soon. as far as potential upgrades that will actually be available, green might be one of the top SF in FA. a lot comes down to how much cap room the bulls end up with/create for themselves this offseason. if you could add a green and a center in FA and draft a solid young PG in the draft, then I like the direction of this team a lot more than I currently do at least. over the top? probably not, especially considering GS doesn't seem to be going anywhere the next few years. doesn't mean you stop trying though
