Graham Knott, 6'3" lefty left wing, 190 lbs, 18 years old. Has some upside but will take time. Probably a player that could replace Saad after his bridge contract if necessary, in our wildest dreams of fortune.

And he goes to a divisional opponent, to boot. Also saw the Kings traded for Lucic. West got tougher yesterday.

Lucic is worn down and is a UFA after next season. Guys that play that way do not have a very long shelf life in the NHL. I can't even think of one guy like Lucic in the NHL that is over the age of 30 that is a serviceable player. Last guy that bucked the trend was Bertuzzi.

lineups shaping from rumors?

Saad-Toews-Hossa
Teuvo-Richards-Kane
Panarin-?- Hartman
Haggerty-Kruger-Shaw Shaw/Teuvo options to center. Danult, McNeil and the lineman of Panarin can opt out in July and sign with us potentially for center.

Seabs, Keith, Hammer, Johns, Forslong, TVR, Runblaad

Q also said they're going to try Teuvo at center. Think your four centers entering next season will be Toews/Teuvo/Kruger/Danault or McNeill

Haggerty will be playing in Rockford next season.

I don't know about that. Haggerty is an overconfident young man, however, the Rangers seemed to think he had a chance to stick.

I view him as a year older version of Baun. Probably neither of them will be good enough to contribute but there is a chance either or both of them stick the season in the top 12.

I immediately slot Haggerty into the order of our prospects chances for success with the big club

2016 1. Johns 2. Panarin 3. Hartman 4. Baun 5. Haggerty 6. Danault 7. Forslong
2017 1. Forslong 2. Pokka 3. McNeil

You're overselling on Haggerty.

He sucked in his first try with the Rangers or what? I posted an article somewhere about how excited they were when they got him on the two year free agency deal. He is like their Baun from a year ago.

I don't think u can pencil in any prospect for the 2015/16 roster. The Blackhawks will make them earn the roster spot like they always have. Q is not a fan of unproven yewt, regardless of the hype, just ask Morin and Pirri.

The Hawks were also very excited to get Hobey Baker winner Drew Leblanc. That worked out well...

That leaves us with 7.1 million and we still need to sign 4 forwards (two of which are RFAs) and 2 dmen (probably 3 if Runblad is gonna be our #7).

In all seriousness... I think Rundblad is going to be a full-timer this year.
