Funny you mention ichiro cause I saw he was a FA and was thinking to myself if hed be worth a 1 yr deal at about 5-6 mil for leadoff and LF if nothing better long term is there for the taking.Ichiro would be one

This way Bryant stays at 3B at least for this year

He's an original Score guy nicknamed shorty and is a 780 wbbm anchor
I think people misunderstand a pure hitter over a elite hitter. Castro isnt an elite hitter because he doesnt offer the whole package. He is a pure hitter because he can handle any pitch to all fields. Maybe we have different translations.
I looked at Castro's spray charts. He's mostly a pull hitter with only 32 hits between the CF/RF gap and the RF line.
I never said dead pull hitterNo,

He is a pull homer hitter. Obviously, he doesnt have prestigious power to take them out to right field on the regular. He also pulls a lot of his ground ballls. This is what the Cubs were trying to teach him. To turn on pitches for power. His line drives are all over the field and his flyballs are all over the field. He is nothing like a pull hitter. If he was, team would shift against him. They dont at all. Dynamite analysis though. Ill leave you with a real pull hitter and read the article to learn.

He has what 32 hits the opposite way. That does not fit your definition
I'm guessing you didn't read anything. Every player can be considered a pull hitter. Lol
