well conley gets knocked out with 4 min left in the 3rd quarter from an elbow to the eye, they are without their #2 PG Udrih, and yet they hang on and take care of biz leading the entire game on the road in Portland. pretty impressive W for the grizz. been the most dominating performance of all the 1st round series so far IMO

JR Smith ejected for a flagrant 2 and injuring Jae Crowder.

May end up a suspension for all we know..

yup, we shouldn't have to worry about him for game 1 at least. IMO Kendrick "thug" perkins should get suspended as well, as he was clearly looking to mess with crowder too

I only saw a replay. He basically was put in a standing arm bar scrambling for a rebound. He immediately ran off the court holding his shoulder.

Separated shoulder, he will need MRI tonight or tomorrow. Any tearing and he could be out for the series easily. I don't think it hurts them that much, they basically take a shooter/rebounder off the floor and fill the need with James while bringing in another shooter or rebounder. It just means more 3's for Kyrie, Lebron, J.R.Smith, Jones, and Miller if he ever suits up. Personally I would rather have Love jacking them up and taking himself, a rebounder, away from the basket.

If Love shoots you have Mosgov and maybe James trying to get the offensive glass. If Kyrie shoots you have James, Thompson, and Mosgov now. We have had trouble with Thompson on the glass this season already too.

I think the play was clumsy by Father O-Kelly but not intentional. They were wrestling, got crossed up, and there was a down and tug by Kelly that looked dirty, but I think its just the height advantage, playing physical, being a little clumsy and being tangled and wrestling, not trying to give anything.

I've had guys intentionally blow my AC joint in rugby with a downward shot from behind though. It happens, and Kelly was engaged in a physical play and he could have reacted. If he separated the guys shoulder on purpose he is a 7' ninja though.

If Kevin Love misses even a majority of the series it will be good news for the Bulls. Without Love on the floor, that allows our big men to clog the lanes and stop penetration from the likes of Lebron and Kyrie. That's going to really hurt the Cavs half court offense. The Bulls should be able to turn Lebron into a jump shooter in the half court.

The problem is the turnovers. If the Bulls don't take care of the ball and give Lebron/Kyrie fast break opportunities, that will be what hurts us. Luckily, the Cavs defense isn't as good as Milwaukee's. They certainly don't force as many TO's because they don't have that kind of length and athleticism across the board.

yep, you said it....the only thing that can truly beat this team, is their own turnovers...when they don't turn the ball over much they are nearly impossible to beat IMO

If Conley has a facial fracture, wouldn't he just wear a mask like Westbrook?

there isn't a whole lot of info out on the injury as of now(that ive found or heard at least) but hes ruled out of game 4 obviously and they haven't given a timetable for a return. even if he is able to play against GS, its hard to imagine him playing as well

I can see the Bulls meeting the Wiz in the conference finals. Atlanta hasn't looked flash and John Wall will be the best player on the floor.

Rose vs Wall
Beal vs Butler
Two big, physical front courts.

That would be a hell of a series.
