After Rondo grew up and tore his ACL he's never really been the same. His attitude has always been shit but KG, Pierce ,and Allen held it in check IMO. Boston was sick of his antics, hence the trade. Boston rose up, Dallas fell apart.

id still roll with rondo as my PG

(1) Atlanta Hawks vs. (8) Brooklyn Nets
Game 1 - Atlanta Hawks 99, Brooklyn Nets 92
Game 2 - Wed . April 22, Brooklyn at Atlanta, 7:00 PM, NBA TV
Game 3 - Sat. April 25, Atlanta at Brooklyn, 3:00 PM, TNT
Game 4 - Mon. April 27, Atlanta at Brooklyn, TBD

(4) Portland Blazers vs. (5) Memphis Grizzlies
Game 1 - Memphis Grizzlies 100, Portland Blazers 86
Game 2 - Wed. April 22, Portland at Memphis, 8:00 PM, TNT
Game 3 - Sat. April 25, Memphis at Portland, 10:30 PM, ESPN
Game 4 - Mon. April 27, Memphis at Portland, 10:30 PM, TNT

Was just looking at these two series and wow.. what a crock of shit in scheduling.. 2 days rest between Games 1 and 2 then another 2 days rest between Games 2 and 3...Theoretically the Bulls could finish Game 4 on Saturday and their series and these two series still play Game 4 two days later.

The only good thing this does though is prevents shit like with the Blackhawks and not having those terrible 8:30 starts in the central time zones.

agreed. im sure it has to do with the NBA trying to make sure theres a couple games on every night though to spread out the ratings and what not. all bout that dollar dollar bill yall

nobody watching playoff basketball tonight?!?!? figures, grizz dominated again tonight. they went a quarter and a half without committing a turnover! on a night when gasol, zbo, and green combine to shoot 13 of 44 from the field and yet they win the game by 15

Yeah, Mavs completely wasted one of Dirks last years by trading for Rondo.

yeah, but you probably would have made that trade back when they did too, I know I would have. hindsight is 20/20

I used to like Rondo and in fact wanted the Bulls to trade for him. I was WRONG. The guy has really become an incredible asshole as well as a very selfish player. And if you point guard is a selfish player, how good will the team be?

To listen to some of the media out here, you'd think the series was over when they won the first game.

As I heard on Mike and Mike this morning, it was a bold trade and at the time it was considered by pretty everyone to be a good trade. On paper it looked great. Don't blame them for making the trade at all, even considering how it blew up in their face.

i thought it was a great trade at the time then somebody else brought up how Rondo was gonna kill the chemistry and ball movement they had and i started thinking how that was a very valid point

as Rondo likes to hold onto the ball and collect assist

speaking on this...Rondo is a good example that guys with high assist totals can be just as selfish as a guy like Allen Iverson scoring...Chris Paul is another guy that plays like this...they chase assist

The thing with Rondo is he can't shoot worth a damn.
