yup, he cant keep it up though unfortunately. they'll need tyreke or pondexter to get hot too
Pondexter had a good game last time out. He'll probably heat up from 3 at some point. Reke will sorta depend on how that ankle or whatever injury he had is. Gordon being hot to start definitely opens it up for AD though. Maybe Anderson will get rolling to keep that momentum going. GS isn't gonna be this cold forever

But then just like that the GS bench turns it around. Pretty impressive how well that unit plays together.

like I said, dogfight till the end. if Gordon hits that fastbreak open 3 with 2 min left to bring em within 3 points, it could of been a W for NO perhaps even

I think New Orleans snags a game at home in Game 3 or 4, but that's probably it for them.

Cle-Bos close game

Washington again leading Toronto. Could go up 2-0 on them with Games 3 and 4 at Washington
(There's something very familiar about all of this.. :shifty:)

I know its not news, but I cannot understand how Cleveland put their skyline on the court. What were the odds that they'd be the city to do that? It has to be astornomical.

Memphis did it before Cleveland(but its the Memphis tigers college basketball that did it). but hey they still play at the FedEx Forum too!

After Rondo grew up and tore his ACL he's never really been the same. His attitude has always been shit but KG, Pierce ,and Allen held it in check IMO. Boston was sick of his antics, hence the trade. Boston rose up, Dallas fell apart.

Interesting note for those looking ahead to next round.

While its only two games, JR Smith has started these playoffs cold...

But while most people know he's very inconsistent, look at his playoff numbers for his career...

Except the season Denver went to the WCF and a first round series the year before, his numbers are fairly awful in the playoffs.

His last 18 games in particular are awful. Shooting 32% from the field, and 24% from 3 point.

Perhaps the Bulls just let him shoot next round.

Now that I've made this observation, probably.

This season, he's shot hot at home in Cleveland and cold at the UC. (though that was only one game).

(1) Atlanta Hawks vs. (8) Brooklyn Nets
Game 1 - Atlanta Hawks 99, Brooklyn Nets 92
Game 2 - Wed . April 22, Brooklyn at Atlanta, 7:00 PM, NBA TV
Game 3 - Sat. April 25, Atlanta at Brooklyn, 3:00 PM, TNT
Game 4 - Mon. April 27, Atlanta at Brooklyn, TBD

(4) Portland Blazers vs. (5) Memphis Grizzlies
Game 1 - Memphis Grizzlies 100, Portland Blazers 86
Game 2 - Wed. April 22, Portland at Memphis, 8:00 PM, TNT
Game 3 - Sat. April 25, Memphis at Portland, 10:30 PM, ESPN
Game 4 - Mon. April 27, Memphis at Portland, 10:30 PM, TNT

Was just looking at these two series and wow.. what a crock of shit in scheduling.. 2 days rest between Games 1 and 2 then another 2 days rest between Games 2 and 3...Theoretically the Bulls could finish Game 4 on Saturday and their series and these two series still play Game 4 two days later.

The only good thing this does though is prevents shit like with the Blackhawks and not having those terrible 8:30 starts in the central time zones.
