My question is, wouldn't it be cool if the young studs could go 3 jack in every game even if they lost?
Did they lose? No board ever gets to the outcome of the game in the "2015 spring training thread".
But nevermind that. Just think, the kids show some progress and jack a few even in a loss.......top ten pick next June maybe TOP 5!!!!
Sometimes its hard dealing with the meatballs. Some days I have energy for it, many I don't.
When there's more to talk about than :fap: to prospects hitting home runs in a spring training game, I'll be around.

I have no idea if this is sarcasm or not.
See, cubs fans tend to be idiots, so crazy statements that normal people wouldn't take seriously.
But cubs fans take it seriously. Because prospectz and stuffz
So, only if the prospects succeed you will be back around. Solid fandom.
No. I don't feel like debating then entering the circle jerk of how cute back to back to back home runs by prospects off of a 20 something year old pitcher who still is going through growing pains in spring training and hasn't even warmed up yet.
Its spring training. Wake me up when there's something on the table worth talking about. Like the regular season. I've always hated spring training, everybody overreacts for the wrong reasons, and now that the media over-analyzes everything, it only gets worse.
Solid fandom? Ahhhhh yes......the 'you're not a real fan because you don't slurp 100% of what lord Theo preaches like the rest of us!' argument.
Still don't care. I watch when I watch. I love this team, doesn't mean I like what its been doing. I've pointed out often it still has many holes in need of fixing, leading to my doubts for them being serious in 2015.
If you don't like what I say, then **** off.

Sorry, but it is.
I totally understand that you don't think ST is anything to get excited about, and I respect your opinion of wanting to see some stuff that's more concrete of the Cubs actually improving. What I don't understand is why you feel the need to come here and ruin it for people who do like to get excited about positive stuff going on in ST cuz that's all there is now. :dunno:
Bear Pride, You do realize there are ALOT of Cub fans that don't post on message boards and they could be a bit cynical.
Meatballs or Wonks does it really matter if skeptical people post on this board?
Back top topic, It was fun to watch today's game. All our big time prospects played today. The back to back to back was still pretty awesome because we have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for them to play against ml competition. There was good and bad from our young players. I expect that to continue in the season. The lineup is going to hit a ton of homers and strikeout a lot.
