I wouldnt. I dont believe any of the top receivers are coming here. I think Theo picks up a "guy" and trades one of the expendables in the minors

BTW, every day I like Baez more and more. I just dont like his crazy ass swing

I would not trade Baez either. He's a young Zobrist II defensively giving loads of insurance at so many positions and his swing is coming around. He's so talented.

Although I am the one saying moves that need to be made should be made, I'd be hard pressed to get rid of anyone from the MLB roster. I'd be inclined to move Schwarber though because he is a defensive liability no matter where he plays and seems destined to be a DH. Theo is going to have to dish out loads of cash to loads of hitters soon enough.

Broglio had 3 good years in St. Louis prior to the trade and was considered one of the best pitchers in the league. Brock was considered a poor defender with questionable hitting skills. It was certainly considered a good trade at the time.

Exactly why the Cubs should be careful about dealing any of their young talent. I honestly don't think the Cubs need to add anything to this team to win the World Series. I think were set in out bullpen. Certain guys (like Cahill, Grimm, Wood, and Warren) have to play up to their skill level...Richards should be DFA ASAP though...

I'm still thinking that thinking we're the best team in the history of baseball in June was a little premature.

Baseball is a very long season with many stretches of good and bad. People should just enjoy the ride.
