I was on the phone during that long 7th - or at least the bottom. Did Dogers burn through the whole pen?

They have a closer - why aren't they using him? Is it the typical playoff overmanaging?

Edit: Didn't realize their closer had been in since 7th. I was thinking there was someone else.

So now they leave him in for a 3rd inning?

The Dodgers are poorly managed. Huge advantage there.

They are using their closer, for a 3 inning save.

So, Kershaw AND the closer will be unavailable in Game 1.

That helps.

I've spent too much time on Stubhub, and with the announcers muted - it's Harold Reynolds, after all - I missed that. He's only been in for half an hour! :)

This is a real battle of wits - Dave Roberts and Dusty.

Who do we play if neither of these teams can win?

If he was planning on using Kershaw...why not against Harper?

Meh, they got a day off. Jansen will be ready to go. He might not make it out of this game though.

51 pitches. Roberts blew his closer, AND will overuse Kershaw.

I am rooting for a long game.

Hey...I gotta hand it to him though. You're gonna win it or lose it with your best pitcher.

Kershaw will throw right handed and start Game 1.

They just said Dusty has lost NINE straight potential series clinching games.

Just saw Pete Rose on MLB....wtf. I thought I saw Frank Thomas' hand behind his back....now I know why.

ARod and Big Hurt look finely tailored.

Rose is wearing a wrinkled shirt, fucked up tie, a jacket two sizes too small, and Skechers!

What a fuckin' clown.

Edit: And an off-white belt. LOL

Now they say Dusty's record in potential series clinching games is 1-7. A minute ago they said he's lost 9 straight.

Either way, that's not pretty.

It's definitely more wins than one. He made it to the WS with the Giants and to the NLCS with the Cubs. That's three wins right there.

Little disappointed, kind of wanted to see Dusty back. Plus I wanted revenge on Murphy.
