It's a shot chuckers league. I don't like any of the Balls because of the headcases associated. But giving it deeper thoughts, he'll likely do well in today's NBA. The problem is, on a real team, with a solidly structured depth chart and precise roles, LaMelo is a damn good 6th man, but the circus around him is going to push egos around and keep him on shit teams as a starter, just so he has that status.

Big stats potential, but not someone who will win a chip without a huge reality check.

White is a combo G. At best, he'll be a perennial 6th man contender

100% agreed. Been saying cobys ceiling is 6th man. People were pretty upset with that opinion on here, though. Be careful! lol

Why? It couldn't be more apparent. Its not a bad thing, he just isn't star material

Rumor has it that the Mavericks are interested in trading for Lavine. It's a non-starter IMO if the deal doesn't include the #18 pick.

better get more than just the #18 pick. Mavs would be title contenders with Lavine playing off of Luka and porzingis back healthy

Just dumping LaVine's salary and entering tank mode is enough to move him. Lavine wins games against bad teams which puts the Bulls in the usual 4-10 range in the draft.

his salary isnt an issue. 20 mil for a guy that scores 25 a game isn’t a problem. The question is the next contract what will he demand

I want boban! But yeah, there isn’t much on the mavs roster that they would part with that would interest me much.
Courtney Lee? Brunson? Seth Curry?

I actually think that you could, theoretically at least, get the 18th and a future first rounder. That second one probably has restrictions on it though.

yeah, I think they’d give up a future 1st. Maybe even unrestricted since they would assume their roster would be a top 5 with luka, porzingis, and lavine.

those 3 guys don’t do much for the bulls IMO. They already have undersized combo guard(s). And Courtney lee, I didn’t look it up...but isn’t he like 32+ years old? Seems like dude has been in the league a long time

Thats because he has. He missed that easy GW layup vs the Lakers in GM 1(?) Of the 2009 NBA finals

Meh, not really suggesting those three as much as I am just throwing out names I recognize. Lee has been around for awhile, but I looked up his numbers and he has some decent 3FG numbers. But yeah, just saw his age: 35.

Curious because I have not watched any of his tape, what's your analysis?
