If they make it out of the draft, I'd like the Bears to take a look at Quartney Davis and Jeff Thomas, both WRs. David Woodword LB, and there's at least 5 or 6 TE's that were mock drafted all the time still sitting there. Add in Anthony Gordon and go get 1 or 2 of these guys as udfa.
Yes please on Davis.

I mean, two 7th rounders isn’t exactly much of an investment into what most consider our weakest position group on the team
You take them because you like them better than other UDFAs and take away their choice of destination. Simmons will be a G and I think he sticks.

Kelce flat out better prosepct.

Ertz was a more polished route runner and got in and out of routes quicker. Kmet is almost a half second slower in 3 cone.

Now Kmet has tools to develop but now I would put his ceiling at a Mertellus Bennet level not Kelce or Ertz.

I’d be happy with a great attitude, team player and better blocker Bennet!

I'm happy green Bay fans are irate about their draft. Lololollol
Their oline got some help. The rest of those picks are head scratches

I get that. not The point of my post. We have some serious o line issues. To only draft two 7th rounders is risky as fuck

CBS grade on Simmons was a D+ followed by "has serious versatility and a mean streak, a combination making him worthy of getting picked."

So he is worthy of getting picked, but using your last pick on him, in the 7th, gets you a D+ grade.

What sense does that make. Love the grades every year. :D

Both came out 2-3 years older When they were drafted.

I would buy 10 jerseys if one of these players being interviewed would do some research and respond back. “Glad to be here. Thanks for having me. Yeah I’m excited to be drafted as a Jaguar but Chris (mortenson) how’s your dead mom. Do you miss her?”

OL gets so much movement.

Remember Jordan Mills? Pretty sure that dude has been on 5 teams already.

Pace got some bodies. That's all they needed. Just some coachable bodies.

And I am sure you were saying that before we passed on OL right?

Which is fine. Big coachable bodies. Oline is like no other in the draft. If i ever get a crazy amount of time, I'd show each teams Oline and where they were drafted. We took 2 today that will no doubt compete
Of any position to take with picks that low, I like OL. Not the same as addressing it earlier, of course, but I think OL in the 7th are as likely as any position in the 7th. Who knows? We will see. But it beats grabbing more def backs at that point.

No sure LTs where we were drafting. I like to build Gs from college Ts instead of drafting them high. Pace got some vet bodies to hold the fort until then and everyone forgets we have the 2 ND guys from last year.
