Getting crushed on the glass…and in particular giving up offensive rebounds. It’s no surprise why AKME made an offer for Poeltl

Ball/Caruso the MVP of this team. It’s crazy how mediocre of a team they are without them

Yup when you give a star like Booker open shots all night, nothing you can do. Dude is 12/15 with 0 turnovers lol.
Yep, and that’s likely whomst ball would be guarding. Have Zach on Paul

When healthy, I still think this could be a hell of a matchup

They figured some things out on how to attack Paul as soon as he crossed half court, but it was too late

The Bulls have not had a real quality win in a long time , At some point point it would be nice to see Zach or Demar accept the challenge defensively on some of these guys and raise the intensity of these games especially at home

Its fine to be cool with Book but Book doesn't come into my house and get 39 and Im gonna let him know that right from the tip. We cant be waiting on Zo and AC to come back to stand up to these teams . ....can we ?

Yeah, I mean we know the Bulls have been missing guys, but a lot of these teams they've played are missing guys too. The Bulls are just completely lost defensively without Caruso it seems and to a lesser extent Ball (they were free falling in the defensive ranks prior to Ball going out).

So, all season, this team has beaten Cleveland once. If we expand the standings a little, Bulls have beaten, Utah, Dallas, Denver 2x, Toronto 2x, but definitely struggle against the top tier competition. Bulls have two quality wins against the Nets, though they're free falling in the standings right now due to injuries.

Many of these games against the top 7 aren't even that competitive, and last nights game against the Suns ended in a 3 point loss, but game was further away from that and never totally in doubt (though not as bad as Warriors / last Nets game.

Tough stretch here for sure, but things aren't going to get any better any time soon. They've got Charlotte next, followed by Minnesota, OKC should be an easy win, but they almost lost the last one. Spurs just beat them not that long ago. Kings suck, but no idea how they match up with the Bulls.

Bulls then go Hawks, Grizzlies, Heat, Hawks, Sixers in what could be an utterly brutal stretch.

Bulls also play the Bucks 3 more times.

A thorough meta analysis needs to be done to understand if small ball takes time off your guards NBA lives, I want these guys to understand there is a physical cost to rebounds, like an NFL running back taking a carry. Your gonna take a hit to come down with it. Your gonna fall wrong every certain number of times. Guys land on your feet, you land on theirs. The older you get the more miscalculations and mistakes happen until you can no longer recover from a multitude increasing in concentration.

I’m not surprised we looked into cheaper PF options. That tells you they are reluctant to give up on the future of White/Williams packages.

If they trade out the future for now this thing is going to be a hot flash in the pan.

Entirely depends on Williams timetable to return. Simmons or Grant or Turner probably interfere with the contract balance currently plotted out. That they are looking at Poetl tells me they are going to quietly and cheaply about to fill what they see as a temporary hope.

I guess we can juggle in the off-season if a full desk makes it back.

Exactly !! Now I understand we are missing guys heck our #1 issue last season was lack of a PG and we got TWO this offseason and both are out so that will affect our execution and ability to get easy baskets imo

However we still have our 3 best players on the floor and the teams level of play has not risen to meet the challenge of any of the top teams in months even at home where you would expect them to be able to draw from the energy of one of the best fan bases and buildings in the league.

Zach and Demar are chill and thats great at times but right now this teams needs them loud , boisterous, and amped from the start on both ends of the floor

I really don’t understand this Zach and Demar are “chill” sentiment. Like did you watch last nights game?? Demar threw a basketball into the base of the goal after a TO was called, and Zach was yelling at guys. Not that that matters, but you seem to want “passion” shown from them or some shit….well, they show it…not sure if you notice it or not

Dude, no…can’t you see that the guys to blame for last nights loss are the duo that went for 70 points on 25/47 shooting and had 12 of the teams paltry 18 assists total?!?

Actually Vuc is 3rd man on the totem pole when you got 2 guys talking nearly 60 shots but Im gonna blame the guy that takes 15 ?

No on is saying Vuc is the MVP or that Vuc is gonna get the Supermax yet we have you and Knox with both of their dicks in your mouths no matter how many times they get clowned because in your feeble ass minds you somehow have deemed it okay for those league best players to need someone else to come and play defense for them

What defensive passion did they show because neither one said hey I got Booker did they ?

But its all on Vuc LOL
