No one is going to want this smoke in the playoffs. Bulls have a real shot here. Once ball and Caruso come back the defense will tighten up, and if this Coby continues, this team is a nightmare to the eastern conference
I had not given up on Coby but had already thought he was dispensable. Glad he's taking advantage of the minutes.

I don’t have a chance to watch these games but based on stats I absolutely love being wrong about the derozan signing. I might have to get the nba package something I haven’t done since the rose years.

DeRozan is a serious candidate for MVP.

Not i think he will (or should) win but his season has been incredible thus far. At 33 he is playing the best basketball of his career and has helped lift this team up from the gutter of the lottery.

Is he the best player in the NBA? No. Has he been the best player so far this year? Yes.
Yeah. Similar to rose’s mvp year. He wasn’t the best player in the league. But no player was more important to his teams success

Definitely haven’t given up on him but not anointing him yet either. He needs to be consistent. I’m super encouraged though. He’s looking smooth out there, he’s playing defense, and making the right basketball play a lot more often than not. If he keeps it up, it’s a scary thought for the rest of the league.

It's either Curry, Durant, Jokic, Paul, or DeRozan for MVP. If Butler had more games under his belt, he would have been in the mix. Giannis is obviously still Giannis and is lifting the Bucks up but he missed a few games early and Bucks got off to a slow start. Jokic is having a statistical season for the ages. I'd have a hard time not giving the MVP to DeMar. He's been CLUTCH down the stretch of games consistently.

I think he’s incredibly talented but he was reckless. He’s been adapting to the style of play the coaching staff is emphasizing and he witnessed when injured. On this team you have to play defense, share the ball and limit turnovers. Otherwise, you’re not going to play. I’m encouraged too.

This is incredible not even back to back buzzer beater threes but back to back buzzer beaters any shot in the history of back-to-back days.
I mean, really, that tweet says in the comments that only Larry Bird has done back-to-back buzzer beaters period, so DeMar is in very rare company.

He's finally on a good team. Well coached and veteran leadership. That will do wonders for a young player's development.

I’d still vote Curry because of Lavine being better than anybody Stephen has right now.
I wouldn’t mind giving DeRozan/Lavine a combo award, like share the MVP…but I couldn’t even choose between them for team MVP.

He's been a candidate for awhile, but he's moving himself up.

He is definitely playing the best season of his career thus far. His 2016-17 season was pretty good (some of his numbers are still higher that season than this one), but this season, its like he's taken all the experience he's gained since that year and just put it all together.
