Not a single pick on defense yet. Guessing they hope the D will at least be average, the offense takes off with Fields and then spend the next offseason on the D?

Improving on a top 10 defense resulted in having a defense easily negated with ignored offensive penalties.

I wouldn't count on these 6s and 7s to be anything no matter what side of the ball they're on.

I am shocked the first 3 picks go to a QB and oline though.

Offense, offense, offense, offense, offense

Gonna be nuts if we handed the Giants a top 3 pick next year too. There is no telling that any of these guys will help the offense in 2021.

A couple of injuries on defense will make the D well below average.

If the offense would continue to go 3 and out and not score, the defense was going to mail it in this season. They were already at times going through the motions last season...

With an improvement on the line and QB, and Rodgers likely being out of the division, I don't think they will be a bottom 3 team. They might be average again as they gel, but bottom 3?

Usually the rule of law is don’t expect shit from late round picks and if you do get something out of them even just solid st play you did good. But I wonder if there will be more steals in this draft than normal cause of how many players sat out 2020 that got drafted

Right now to me it feels like Emery's first couple of drafts when 90% of message board was gloating and joyous that he killed draft. We will know how the draft was in a few years. Guys generally go higher than normal for a reason, and lower than normal for a reason. Everything is relative.

Normally I would say if the Bears are gonna be shit, at least on the other side of the rainbow is a top draft pick.

If the Fields pick works out offense should be better, but I see the defense going on a very sharp decline like the Wanny era.

hah, you can say that for every team in the NFL. What would Rams be without Aaron Donald? or Bucs D without Shaq Barrett?

Does Ryan Pace control this Twitter account?

PFF has every Bears pick ranked 50-100 spots higher than others.
