Awfully quiet after a big 18 point win over the Celtics in here. Somehow me thinks there would be more posts if they had gotten blown out. Pathetic

Meh, I was with the Bears tonight.

Great win. Had DD actually gotten the foul call on Friday, this team is 3-1.

Not with a Bears game also going on.

A lot of people tend to comment day after anyways.

Excuses excuses

they are lurking, just not commenting

they had plenty to say leading up to the game

its cool, though…next time bulls lose to a mediocre team, they’ll be blowing up that IGT. Bears game or not

Also, win number 2 against top level teams. Already a better season than last year!

Now that it's the day after, let's talk Patrick Williams.

Good job CCS, we cunted hard enough for the Bulls to not only win, but pull off a 19 point comeback and a blowout. Keep up the good work

As a fan, I’m just glad I can contribute to the outcome of games from my living room. Hell, I didn’t even watch the game, maybe that’s the real key to victory

Nope. Nor the Bears game. Had other stuff going on so I could only stare at box scores lol
He didn’t make shots(2/7), but he was a lot more aggressive than usual, the shot just wasn’t falling.

I know it’s early and PWill is going to break out here real soon, but he currently has a PER of 4 ???

Probably the most impressive thing he’s done in his career. That is hard to do

I'll take your word for it on the aggression, but it didn't seem to translate into anything tangible. We're getting Keith Bogans type production out of him at this point.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not demanding he put up counting stats, you can have an effect on the game without having too many stats. Just look at Javonte or Caruso, not mind blowing stat lines, but you know their impact was tangible. Paw was the only Bull with a negative plus minus and he only played 15 minutes. Stats don't tell everything, but the story they are telling is not an encouraging one for him so far.

Speaking of aggression, Derrick Jones Jr seemed to take that same aggression and turn it into 10 points and a +16 plus minus in 15 minutes played (same as Patrick). I feel like Patrick should be able to do that once in a while with his skills.

Agreed on the impact in the game. That said, +- isn’t the best thing to look at as you know

PWill played 15 min, basically the first 7-8 min of the game and the first 7-8 min of the 2nd half. So yeah, he played during the start where they were down 19, then went to the bench and the comeback started.

Was it because of PWill? He had a share in the causation, sure. But so did the other 4 starters(nobody was playing well to start, hence how they went down 19).

Jones did bring a spark of athleticism, but also Robert Williams wasn’t playing for Boston last night, so Boston had no rim protection. Kinda a perfect match for what DJJ does well.
