I'll go back to what I said at the trade deadline... Idk how the **** the Wolves and Jazz willingly helped the Lakers, their own competition in the West. They literally made themselves worse, just so the Lakers could improve.
I guess you can argue that the Jazz were trying to intentionally miss the playoffs... but then again, they were too "good" to realistically have a chance to win the lottery, so may as well try to make the playoffs. But the Wolves move made no sense. They were competing for a spot in the playoffs and flipped Conley for Russell, which I thought was a bad move for them. But what was even worse was allowing the Lakers to swap Westbrook for Russell, which was a huge advantage for the Lakers. Not because Russell is amazing, but because he's a much better fit that Westbrook.
Idk.. just blows my mind that teams historically seem to always make trades to benefit LA.
