Just realized that Bamba is a free agent. Wow…thought he was signed for one more year. He probably moves up to my #1 target to backup Vuc, but unfortunately, he probably ends up getting more $$$ than Robinson. I’d be surprised if the Bulls could get him. Maybe a small chance Bulls could work out a S&T with Coby, DJJ (S&T)? Wishful thinking most likely

I think Poeltl is a respectable player. I started off stating that as a disclaimer. I like the guy, I just don’t think he’s a fit with the bulls as long as Vuc is on the roster

I like several other options more than I do Poeltl. Bamba being one of them. Considering the bulls situation both roster makeup and cap wise, I’d agree that Bamba is probably at the top of the list of “realistic” options. He’s a type of player the bulls don’t currently have on the roster, and I think we both understand the importance of roster construction/makeup

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Bulls will be able to afford either one of Bamba/Robinson. They’re both still young with upside and have already proven to be good players. You never know though, stranger things have happened

My only hope is that there aren’t any teams with cap space really. Their current teams could sign them and be over the cap, but otherwise the bulls got a shot at em. AKME will have to get creative with S&T’s I imagine

Agreed. They’ve proven to be adept at them as well. They’re going to look to be paid though, as they should. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

That’s the main reason I brought up Poetl in the first place. I thought Robinson would be priced out of the Bulls market and I didn’t even know Bamba was a FA…but I think he’ll end up getting more than Robinson. If both are out of the Bulls range, Poetl would definitely be a great trade option. Albeit, that’s probably unlikely as well. Bulls are really in between a rock and a hard place to fix their front court issues

John Wall planning on joining the Clippers after a buyout.

I feel like this would have been big news if this was John Wall of 5 years ago

Yea, its not big news anymore. But, I feel Wall has some good years left in the right situation.

It’s only big news because he’ll make $10M per game next season if his injury history holds up.

Spurs on the verge of trading Dejounte Murray for Gallinaro and picks. Spurs seem to want to punt to go after the first pick of the draft. Guy in the unicorn of the draft

Damn, doesn’t seem like much for a guy as talented as Murray. Depends how many picks I guess

Hell, I’d offer them coby, Ayo, and a first rounder for him

Don't follow the rest of the NBA as much as I used to but outside of Mitchell who is a realistic shot on these lists?

Hawks wanted to send John Collins but Spurs dont want his contract. Gallinari is on an expiring contract. Thats what I gathered

Yeah, that’s what made me think the bulls should jump in and offer a coby + first rounder type offer. Or Ayo + first rounder. Get a young and cheap player plus a pick, has to be better than gallinari and a couple picks(depending on the picks).

murray would give the bulls some serious lonzo insurance and even if lonzo is healthy, Murray as one of your 4 main guards seeing roatation(lonzo, lavine, Murray, and Ayo or coby) would be elite level guard play

I agree, but I was wondering what the hawks plan at pf/c is since they are actively shopping both Collins and capela?
Definitely true to wonder what their plans there are. I imagine capela makes sense to keep for his lob threat with trae and Murray now. That backcourt is just nasty to deal with now
