  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Preseason takeaways thus far:

-PWill is going to do his best to be an even bigger bust than he already is
-Julian Phillips's corner 3 is looking very good
-Dalen Terry still cannot hit the water in the middle of the ocean, but he can do everything else
-Matas has game
-Giddey is what we expected, I doubt we'll see him shoot any better from 3 this year, but who knows as he gets more work in with this shooting coach
-Billy's dream of playing 4+ guards/wings at once will be very prevalent this season
-THT is really gunning for that last roster spot, if any of the Exhibit 10 contracts is gonna get the spot, it seems like it'll be him
-Chris Duarte looks like he could be a rotation player, except his shooting is about as inconsistent as Giddey's, so he'll probably never play

Duarte is better than I expected. I thought he was going to be a garbage minute player at best that belongs in the G-League, but I think he'll be closer to rotation.

All it takes not to suck in the NBA is one great draft pick.

Zach lavine just keeps the Bulls in mediocrity forever.

lets keep holding out hope that we somehow luck into the top pick and that somehow that top pick ends up being a top 5 NBA player then!!

Rather do that than be mediocre.

i guess...just saying there is more than just that way to build a competitive roster. im tired of watching incompetent basketball, personally(granted only watched a handful of games last year due to this)

The problem is the Bulls are an incompetent franchise, so they basically have to luck out in the draft.

Your Grizzlies should be much more fun to watch this year though, if Ja is healthy

Grizz should be one of the contenders this year, agreed. as long as Ja stays out of trouble is probably more important than him staying healthy lol

cuz Ja hasnt changed a bit, i promise you that

Probably more accurate to say "if Ja is available"

He's a game changer for sure

Draft, FA, or trade.

As clone said, Add in what clone said about the franchise being incompetent.

No superstar requests a trade to Chicago and that's the only way supers get traded now a days.

FA hasn't been much of a thing lately because supers request trades before hitting free agency.

Draft luck is the best way to acquire one, and is how most teams build their center pieces anyways...

Lonzo looked good in his short 15:07 stint. 4-6, 10 points.

****!

Surprising since he cares about the White Sox infinitely more than the Bulls…but in the end he’s a businessman. I’m sure there’s a reason.
