why do the nuggets wanna move MPJ, though?
I mean, they probably don't, but it's the only way to get Zach, if they are truly interested because they have to salary match. Of course, bringing a 3rd team in changes the conversation, but in the simple terms they don't have another choice if they want to deal with the Bulls directly due to the rules

i guess i just dont see why the nuggets would trade a guy(plus filler) getting 18 and 7 per game while shooting near 40% from 3

those are as good as ZL's numbers, so i dont see how it is an upgrade for the nuggets at all

I don't either, I'm just saying if the rumor about Nuggets wanting Zach is true, this is the only way about it (presuming that Jokic and Murray are untouchable, as they should be).

The rumor could be baseless and the Nuggets may actually think as you do in reality, making the whole thing moot

LaVine is better than MPJ. It's from the Bulls perspective that I do not see it and it would only be done to save a few million. Earliest pick they can trade is 2031, no young potential, nothing. A third team would be needed. LaVine would be a great fit with them though.

It's hilarious watching teams of late. Like this Boston @ Bulls game, the Celtics have an open 3, then the shooter just pauses, says "****" in their head, then drive it inside instead. Teams are rigged. And it's coming straight from the officials. I have never seen a pro sport, in my life, where the rules are tested per game basis, to establish data, without the fans knowing what is fair.

Seriously, tell me that's not what others are seeing too? This is not how it has always been. Never this bad at least.

Huh? Haven’t really been watching but are you saying the NBA is rigged?

NBA ratings are down 48% over the last 12 years, 25% decline from last year, and the Celtics coach admits he doesn’t watch games and would rather watch something else 😂

Clearly there is a huge issue with the product.

In context to the game I was watching. The game was being called differently in the first half and the second. The players knew the rule bias going in, coaches will tell them they had talks with refs and are told what is going to be called more. So it's technically the same rules for both teams. But it rigs the game a bit when the rules favor one team build vs another.

I'm saying the league is doing something, and it may not be to pick a winner. To get analytics to see which rule interpretations keep the most viewers. Using low meaning games or even just HALF of the game to experiment and get more data. The Bulls being deemed a limbo-rebuild team, it's a bit more clear if you watch games from across the league and compare.

Like if the score is 74-68 at halftime, 10 years ago people would have tuned in to watch how high the score ran up. Now, people are turning a game like that off, and would rather just view the box score when it's done.

RN, Indy at Sac, 4th quarter. The Kings are playing with 2 men out, and the Pacers are playing with 3-4. Neither play ball like this normally, it's a huge red flag.

Bulls allowing the Hawks to score 50 points in the 4th to lose the game is something I'd call the most Bulls things ever, except it's the only ridiculous 4th quarter collapse I can recall this season. Excellent tanking effort I suppose?

For what it's worth, Bulls sit at 10th in the East, and are a couple losses away from swapping spots with the Sixers for 12th. They're also 10th in draft order as of now, so still in position to keep their pick. Just half a game out of the 7th pick actually.

In inconsequential Bulls roster news, DJ Steward has been waived and his two way spot has been given to Emanuel Miller

Solid game vs the Bucks. Nice to see Giddey pick fights in the paint. He might have more Aussie in him than he's led on.

Stats through the end of 2024. Pretty much the same as last time

Few observations:
-Patrick Williams finally shooting above 40% from 2 lol. Numbers still hot garbage, but actually still improving over time, so there's that I guess
-Giddey's shooting numbers continue to fall, but his plus minus has increased, so those other things he does showing good positive impact. Supposedly his off ball defensive effort has improved as well, I haven't paid particular attention to it, but he hasn't given up obvious easy points in the games I watched, so I'll believe it
-THT and Lonzo leading in plus minus by a wide margin among regular rotation players. I imagine THT is benefiting from playing a lot of his minutes with Lonzo, but we know he is also one of those guys who just gets buckets so I'll give him credit. THT's shooting numbers not nearly as impressive as earlier though. Lonzo's shooting numbers have never been impressive this season, but it's the other things of course that make him valuable
-Coby's inconsistency has returned and it is showing in his shooting numbers, still getting his numbers, but efficiency is struggling

How dare you sully the name of future NBA Finals MVP Emanuel Miller.

Well the team is 2-0 when I get to watch. I thought it was awesome they had the Funkster calling this game. A few observations:
1. Coby is fun to watch when he’s hitting
2. I miss that Lonzo D
3. Vuc is a *****.

Bulls #29 in the league in points allowed.

And #4 in PPG. :ROFLMAO: Which essentially means, teams don't take the Bulls seriously, inflates the stats, and suddenly someone in the FA somewhere is patting themselves on the back for getting the offense right.
