Say what now? Ground still being cool? Well, yes, but I thought that the heat from the day will have it at it's warmest come evening? If it's bright and sunny and all that. Isn't the hottest part of the day like 3 pm or something or is that a fallacy?</p>

Depends on the time of year, amount of daylight, amount of cloud cover, and such. There will be 11h 1m of sun that day with sunset at 4:06 pm. Plenty of time for the air to cool down from any heating it will receive during the day. Surface temps are pretty affected by the gound temp and given the general air flow through SF, there is a good chance that the sun will not have strong of an impact on the ground or surface temp in the stadium as it would in an area with more concreate on the ground. The lake will make a difference as well. Shit, I guess that the meteorological training I slept through sank in a bit.'</p>

Of course, not all of that will be perfect, just the expected trend for the time. Global warming could screw it all to hell.</p>
