Yep... what an absolute blessing for me being a young fan to be able to witness a team such as this.

I am so happy for all of you old timers who have watched this team for decades and are finally getting to see THIS... I just hope you guys get to see the real prize!

Have to agree with Klemmer. It is sort of like a dream....except for the nerves that hit me when the game is being played.

Been a long, long wait so it is definitely great stuff.

The San Jose players have to be thinking WTF ? 1 win in 7 tries and the Hawks totally dominated them in their only win. Listening to the interviews the guys are really focused.

I totally agree about the games; my heart is aging....

SJ has to be questioning themselves, no matter what they say publicly. Niemi is a wall, Buff could easily have 3 GWG in this series alone, and JT is hands down the BEST Captain in the NHL.

This series could be 0-3 just as well, but this team simply refuses to lose. I think it could be a combination of wanting to win it for DT, realizing that the summer will bring change, or simply that they are incredibly united, but this is special.

A while back, I pondered who would win a tournament between the 71, 92, and 10 Hawks; there's NO doubt in my mind that we are seeing the BEST Hawk team in my lifetime.

I will be honest, when Bolland got that breakaway goal, I actually let go of all those nerves. I thought the Hawks would sustain that lead and add on an empty netter in a few minutes when Nab was pulled. When the Hawks went into overtime, it was a very emotional experience when Buff made that goal. It was sort of all in slow motion when I saw it all take place right in front of me.

I was there when the Hawks last went to the Cup finals back in 92. I was 21 years old at the time...I cannot believe, I had to wait 20 years for this feeling again.

All I can say is DAMN GLAD TO BE HERE!!!!

I've always felt the '71 team might be the best Hawk team I would ever see. But like you, I'm not so sure of that anymore. Like you said, it's sort of like a dream and maybe it's hard to comprehend any Hawk club being this good after all these years. I guess it's sort of like, "Is this REALLY happening or a figment of my imagination?"

Whatever it is, this group has now gotten to the point where they just overcome any adversity and find a way to win. Almost like they are on a mission and will not be deterred from achieving their goal.

Take it all in, man! People like you deserve this chance of a lifetime.

When people say to "enjoy the moment, cause you might never see it again," trust me, they aren't kidding.

I feel very blessed and grateful to have been able to be this far more than once. But this time, I must admit... This experience is a heck of a lot better than the first one, simply because the entire city is involved and backing this team, and not just a few people... and we're not even done yet.
....And thankfully, I had nothing heavy to throw at the TV when they were blowing Marleau for what seemed eternity....even going as far as talking about how many hat tricks he had when the game went into OT as if he were going to beat Nemo.

God help us if we have to listen to those Bozos the rest of the way.
Oh, man, do you have that right. Every time he touched the puck in OT, they were spewing about "hat trick" this and "hat trick" that....I nearly vomited.
You guys got that right... Hate to say it... I hope we have Doc and Eddie on Sunday!
For those in the USA who have access to CBC, HNIC will be carrying game 4 Sunday afternoon. I have CBC in HD. :)

They should carry the Cup finals, too.

Yep!

I was 12 during the 1971 Cup finals, and game 7 of that series is my biggest disappointment sports-wise in my life.

Hawks are playing great right now. Hope they can keep it up.

GO HAWKS! :)

this team is oozing with confidence and they seem really focused. they know they are good, but keep that humble workman attitude and they all know what they need to do. while tempting, i still don't want to get ahead of myself. they still need to play one more solid game and with a win i will deem the season a success regardless of the result in the SC final. but i do believe they have a legit shot to taking it all. either way this is a special team with the core secured for the future.

the game winner shot by buff showed the confidence he currently has. he could have shot the empty part of the net, but roofed it center net while nabby was taking a nap.

Well, since us oldtimers are reminiscing....I was 11 years old when they last won the Cup. So I barely remember anything about it. I told my son when as we watched one of the three games we went to this year that this could be a very special year. I hope that comes true.

Great night at the UC last night. The postgame atmosphere was crazy... when Kustok interviewed Kane and he was pumping up the crowd, the place was up for grabs and he was loving it. Very cool moment. Grown men were roaming the halls of the UC, yelling, and generally acting like they had lost their minds. Awesome.

It's hard to even talk about who had a good game because the team is just contributing from all over right now. I really enjoy watching Hammer, particularly on the PK. When he and Sopel and Madden were out for the first part of the 5-on-3, they were like a trio of warriors. Gotta love it.

It is a special time right now.

I am savoring the moments as they happen.

As some one else stated about grown men going a little crazy, yep, you

can add me to that group!

Speechless. I never thought the Hawks would be up 3-0 on the Sharks. Tomorrow is going to be an awesome day. I can just feel it.
