Yeah I know I figured I would just clarify it for everyone. I'm going to game 2 so I just wanted to know if it were better to take the metra to the L(it is Memorial Day so the schedules will be all messed up), or drive and pay for parking.

THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE. But here's my 2 cents... I don't think the Hawks played sharp in front of their net, at least 2 of those goals should have been cleared as there were 3-4 red sweaters just standing in the crease not doing anything... they should have been tying up sticks or getting the damn puck away from Niemi. That being said Niemi also let in 2 weak goals and I don't think we'll see as bad of a performance from him the rest of the series.



I said it all along about Philly that they don't have the goaltending to do it. I knew and said it before the series that the Blackhawks were going to light up Leighton like the Christmas tree down town. Boucher isn't going to fare much better as they have not seen any REAL offense this post season and now have their hands full with a high octane fast paced offense that the Hawks play.



My feeling is THAT is as good as the Flyers can play and they played their best game possible. The Flyers aren't going to play better than they did last night, and the Hawks beat them even when they played like ass.

The question Laviolette needed to ask himself was "of the 5 goals Leighton allowed how many of those would Boucher have stopped?" Sharps? Nope. Brouwers two? Nope. Versteegs? 50/50



Of the six Hawks goals the goal Boucher allowed to Kopecky was the worst goal of the bunch.

Leighton/Boucher, its really a lose lose situation.

i did not expect that. I thought for sure Boucher would be their guy.



Don't count on this just yet though. Laviolette could be playing the media and the Hawks here. Seen it done before. Game day decisions are what count.



no big deal who they play though. Hawks can handle either guy. Flyers need to be more concerned with their slow defense. Too much emphasis being put on the Flyers goalkeeping. I think their blueline is more of a concern. Although I thought Pronger had a hell of a good game 1 to be honest.

Technically speaking... it's a jinx to put the GDT up before day of game. But then again look at my record all season. Weren't you 0-2 with GDTs Bierboy?

Yes, I am proud to say, in GDTs, I am perfect! THAT'S why it's my God-given duty to spur you on, Stu, to bigger and greater things (like the GDT).
