I never saw this as a joke..

Same.

And I'm getting tired of all these old timers saying that Curry and the Warriors wouldn't be as successful in a different era. They sound like bitter ex gfs. I don't care how physical you want to play, when you're faced with one of the best ball handlers in the game that could just pull up from 40 and get his shot off at any time, you're at the mercy of Steph Curry. Such a great passer, knows how to run an offense, makes the right passes, could get in the lane whenever he wants, and the guy despite his stature is one tough SOB. The Warriors are a well oiled machine and would be so in any era. They're just too skilled, too deep, and too smart not to be effective in whatever era you want to place them in.

They have never faced a ball handler like him or a ball handler with unlimited range. The NBA is way more athletic in today's game, but people seem to look that over when they want to talk "glory days". GS may be the best passing team I have seen in my life. The ball movement is unreal. Thats why I do not understand why people hate on them. They play fundamental basketball. They just happen to have two guys that shoot lights out. The poster on the last page with the pic. Lulz.

Besides the whole Curry thing, that game was outstanding. Durant made a statement. GS especially Curry refused to lose. Wish Durant wouldn't have fouled out doe.

He is in a zone all by himself right now making all of these shots look effortless. Although I also wish Durant would not have fouled out. Would have been interesting to see how much longer that game would have went on.

So would it be safe to say Curry could already be considered the second greatest player in team history on these two seasons alone? Dude is insane.

Curry is just on another level right now. Even the 2k version of KD (imo the most overpowered player in video game basketball) can't compare to what he does on the court. It's ridiculous. Enjoy what you guys are seeing

It's also crazy that the Warriors got absolutely demolished on the boards and KD was playing on Stephs level and the Thunder still lost. I thought the Spurs might have a shot at beating the Warriors. Not so sure about that now.

yeah pretty crazy how that happened

it takes a perfect storm to put up like a record like that but Dubs seem to have it

Rask (the person that inspired this thread) is still crazy for thinking multiple teams had a legit shot though

I'm not gonna say they can't do it. If you've actually watched them play, I don't think you'd totally dismiss the idea. They have by far the best team defense, by far the best offense. No other team so far has looked that great. I don't want them to get 72 but I think if they really wanted it they could do it

After 12 games I wasn't dismissive of the idea. Now it's looking pretty likely.
