72 Bulls are more physically imposing

you look at Harper, Jordan, Pippen, Rodman then the Warriors

Bulls look allot more manly while Warriors look like a bunch of young hotshots

it would be a interesting series but i say Bulls in 6

Green, bogut, iggy, Barnes, Livingston,Ezeli are all pretty imposing in their own right. Curry looks like a kid but is very tough considering. Especially mentally.

To be clear, I think the Bulls would wiin a 7 game series whether hand checking were in play or not. Whatever rules you would want to play, I think the Bulls win....I just think it's wayyyyyy more competitive than a lot of people want to believe and I wouldn't be surprised if GS actually won the series. Their chemistry is better than ever, Curry is better than ever, and guys have a better understanding of their roles and how to play together. It took Curry a few games last year to get adjusted to Cleveland's defense, but eventually he adjusted. He made quicker decisions either passing or shooting and started to gain confidence and then in turn made his usual shots. I think he would have similar growing pains against the Bulls, but would figure it out eventually. I give way more credit to Cleveland's team defense than Delly last year.
I agree with pretty much everything you said. It'd be a very competitive series I'm sure. I just think it's hard to say anything definitively one way or the other because neither team played a team quite like the other so there's not much to compare against. It'd be a heck of series to watch.

As for Delly, I give the man credit because he worked his tail off in a matchup where he was clearly overmatched and did decently for a couple games. Yes the Cavs' scheme helped him a lot, but he was still relentless and I give him credit for that.

GP is one of the greatest defenders in league history. Who does GS have that is even 60% of the defensive player GP was?

Make MJ and Pip look silly? What? MJ and PIP are all-time NBA defensive legends. Pip edges MJ on defense so Pip would be on Curry. Pip would do whatever it took to slow Curry down even it meant grabbing, poking, checking when the refs weren't looking. He would do whatever it took. Curry is a little boy next to Pip.

Pip would have been his toughest matchup for sure. No doubt. Would he shut him down though? No. If pip struggled against anyone, or wasn't as dominant, it was against smaller, quicker, and shiftier guards with good handles. Pip would make him work harder than he's ever had to but curry would still get a number of "holy shit" plays and yes, burn pippen from time to time. How often is anyone's guess.

He'd burn Pippen one time. Why one? Because as Pippen got burned, Curry would hit the floor hard just after he passed Pippen by Dennis Rodman. That would be the end of that.

It's not like Curry hasn't taken a hard hit before...just saying

In today's nba, pippen would be suspended the rest of the series.

Technically Rodman in this case, but yes.

Clearly the Bulls would have a lot of trouble with Curry but he would get knocked around, especially in a 7 game series. I think the threesome of PIppin, Jordan, and Harper would switch off of him on each possession. Pippin would be on THompson and would dominate him defensively. But on the other side, who guards Jordan, Pippin, Harper, and the rest? Rodman would probably play center matched against the Warriors, with Kukoc in the line-up also. THe Bulls would dominate the Warriors offensively and win in 6.

Totally agree, but Michael would score 50 without really trying so...

Riiight...just like lebron knocked him down earlier in the year. Steph got up, ran off a screen, and drained a lightning quick 3 over a contest. Ran down court like it was nothing. People have tried to bully him before. He doesn't get intimated and it doesn't throw him off.

Dennis' weakest message delivered is better than Lebron's strongest.

Lol just stop. You might be able to slow him down over 7 games with pip, mike, and Harper, but one knock down or hard foul from rodman isn't going to do anything other than piss curry off. As well as Draymond and the rest of the team. There's no doubt the bulls would try to bully him and it would probably slow him down a bit, but for a whole series? No. Not to mention if you slow him down you have the rest of their team to worry about. It'd be a great series. I know it's hard not to romanticize the glory days and feed into the legends and nostalgia, but that's not a very objective way of looking at things.

You keep thinking Dennis would be a hard foul. He'd be looking to injury Curry. You just don't get it and keep going back to this "romance" concept as your only defense.

Please show me all these examples of Rodman trying to injury star players in the Finals.

Can't be done. No one has ever said the craziness about the Warriors and Curry during Dennis' time.

Dennis used mind games, not straight brute force intimidation. Idk why this is even being discussed.

Could you kindly rephrase that so it makes sense?

It makes sense as it is, but for you, I will re-word it.

I can't show you video as requested. When Dennis played none of his opponents as a Bull said the things about anyone as they do about the current 2015-16 Warriors and as they do about the 2015-16 Curry.

Let me know if you need it re-worded again.

All I've learned from this thread is that if Rodman was forced to go in to battle against curry, he'd kill him, and then the Bulls would win in 4.

Chicago! We've got the best everything!
