It's sad. We still have our 2nd Amendment rights to bare arms and form a militia. Heck, the Revolutionary War started on less misuse of power than what is happening now. I'm not one for violence, but I think some of us may see those rights exercised in our lifetimes. =/ Hopefully more people will dig into the issues, so we can get on with our lives.

I dont think we're at the level yet. The Revolutionary War was started on less misuse of power than what we have today. Agree there.

To me a time for revolution would be if the constitution were truly trampled on in the fact of free speech being eliminated, guns taken away, lose the right to vote, innocent until proven guilty is eliminated, etc...that hasnt happened yet. But it could happen in our lifetime, but I only see it happening if something like how it was in the movie V for Vendetta (don't know if you've seen that or not). The government will have gained all its power by fear to control the people and trample them. A law like the Patriot Act was one of the first steps, but no real further step has been taken.
