I think it's been a great discussion. Better than the BS cliche shit you get from Milbury and the gang.

This is why we need a pod cast. My hockey pool guys have a pod cast and it's highly entertaining and far more interesting commentary than anything I see on television. They interviewed a guy from France and his take on the NHL and the European game and the different cultures involved. It was really entertaining shit and funny.

More like the "**** you, no **** you and no soup for you!" game. Except the service was shitty anyway so no one cared.

That's because they are real opinions, no one pays us to tell it like it is. Analysts and reporters are paid to be cliche and tow the company line.

Tuesday’s 3-0 Bell Centre loss to the homecoming Jaroslav Halak’s St. Louis Blues saw Cammalleri lustily booed. The following day, not without sarcasm, he said he’d remained on practice ice longer than usual because he needed the work to stay in shape, broadly hinting that he was unhappy with his diminished ice time doled out by head coach Randy Cunneyworth.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cammalleri was singled out for two defensive errors that cost his team in that loss, missing assignments on Jason Arnottand David Backes on plays that led to the first two goals for the Blues.

After hinting to the pack of reporters he was unhappy with his amount of playing time by saying, "I'm not playing as much, so I need to get a little work here in practice to stay in shape," Cammalleri later continued the conversation with NHL.com and a reporter from Montreal newspaper La Presse.

"On the Arnott goal, he was my guy, I wasn't sharp there," Cammalleri said. "But it was my fifth shift of the game and it was the second period. Usually I've made 15 good plays by that point."

Cammalleri was obviously exaggerating to prove a point because the goal came on his ninth shift of the game. But it is true his ice time has dropped significantly since Randy Cunneyworth took over as interim head coach.

Cammalleri played 15:01 on Tuesday night, marking the sixth time in 10 games under Cunneyworth that he failed to reach the 17-minute mark in ice time. It matches the number of times that happened through his 26 full games this season under previous head coach Jacques Martin (Cammalleri played 4:22 when he was injured during the game of Oct. 9).

"I'm used to playing 20 minutes a night," he said

Nice catch. I never saw those quotes. Montreal sure is a clusterfuck.

Regardless, it's still completely different from what I'm talking about. I'm talking about behind closed doors, and these are comments made to the media. No organization is going to put up with a player badmouthing them publicly to the media.

I would bet my bottom dollar, unlike the fans..the team is actually pretty happy where they're at. Playing in the toughest division in hockey, with the best coaches in any division - they're the number 1 offense in the league, 4 points out of the Conference lead, top 10 on the PP...while not even peaking yet. Kane's been average (funny, while being tied for 8th in the NHL in assists)...goaltending has been suspect...Sharp's missed the last 3 weeks, and now starting to trade for depth players and will begin to start their push.

I don't see anything management would be unhappy with, or the majority of the team. The only "unhappy" players? Frolik - for getting demoted in minutes and like...but he's been given plenty of opportunities. Same with Bickell. They have nothing to complain about - and they won't. They've been given a fair shot by the coaching staff. Lepisto? He was signed late as the 7th-8th dman. Get a better agent.

I think this pretty much nails it down. I'd say you are correct from where I'm looking. I think individually most players think they could play better, but the main thing they didn't want to happen was the nightmare like last season. Frustrated with the coach, I don't get that at all. And thats coming from some as you know is NOT a Q fan some of the time.

I think many players are frustrated at any number of things during the season. Again 99% would never say ONE THING about them. Especially on a winning team.

Un-freakin-believable. #1 - if Q doesn't make Emery his starter from here on out, he's a ******. He's already a ****** for dressing Bickell and Scott for this game. #2 - Ah, screw it....I'm too pissed to type anymore...
