He wouldn't fit after what he did to Bolland last year anyway.

-.- Then thats why they're under the cap... and they even have cap room to spare... Wow.... talk about a loophole if I ever saw one.

Hmm, perhaps not a cap issue with Philly and the Trade for Kubina, but a max contract issue. First scan seems as if Philly now has 51 contracts and the max is 50. Interesting.

I don't think Pronger's contract counts, as RK said earlier.

... and now they're going after Rick Nash... wow...

should we expect a retirement announcement from Pronger tomorrow?

never even thought about the 50 contract rule. There must be an easy solution to that.

... and a loophole... I must admit, Paul Holmgren is one hell of a GM to keep pulling this shit off.

much better than clarke but jesus they keep trading all their picks away. guess on draft day they choose their first pick then go home.

im shocked that grossman might have cost holmgren more than kubina. that ones bizar to me.

Does not count against cap or 23 man roster, but players on IR or LTIR count to towards the contract limit.

They may have to throw a signed prospect in to get under the contract max.

Kind of wished we got Kubina, really thought he would be a physical player the Hawks need on the back end.
