Well if I am making that up, it must be a mass hallucination as many others have seen the comments by many people that FA shouldn't be used until the core of the team is developed.
Keep burying your head in the sand though and slurping up everything that is spoon fed to you. Being a brain dead sheep is really not a noble profession, but just keep making sure you don't forget my order of fries when I am in the drive through though.
Massive Fa's shouldn't just be brought in when the team isn't ready, you start with the farm end with Fa's then continue to mix, we had to start all over which means start with a clean farm system, bring in lesser Fas as stop gaps to compensate for the holes. But you keep slurping your own bullshit, I wonder why you come on a Cubs board to argue about our franchise when your Royals blow even worse then us with how long it's been since they could contend.
Wrong.Actually I should probably correct myself.
The slurpers have said they are in favor of signing free agents if.........
They are under the age of 30
Aren't signed for more than 4-5 years
Aren't signed for over $15M a season
And none of their contract years are wasted when the team isn't competitive.
So they eliminate 99% of the quality free agents at the same time they claim they are for using FA as a tool to help build the team.
Awesome.
