I guess I'm one of the few that is really happy with the direction of this team. I believe Pace can and will get any coach he wants. I believe Trubs will be elite in 3 years. I believe we have drafted well enough to make the future better. I believe all the talent on this team is young and still improving and will hit their prime just as our QB will be turning great. I think we have a real shot to be a perennial playoff team. I believe the rebuild started the day Trubs took over as QB and were still 2 drafts away from being a real good team. 2 things we have that I have not seen from Da Bears since the early 80's 1. good drafting 2. a real QB. I would like to take this moment to say fk all you pessimistic assholes, go root for someone else and take your whinny asses elsewhere. Just don't bother coming back 2 years from now when we start our golden run.

If I wanted to be right about prospects most of the time, I'd just hate on them all. Lots more become disappointments than not.

Exactly, sports fans in general are eternal optimists.

LOL.

Your entire post is littered with "I believe", with not a shred of evidence for any of it. This is 100% hope, and then you have the gall to insult those who prefer to think critically and tell us we aren't welcome here.

How about go **** yourself?

So you are saying that none of us follow the rest of the league? Kind of a dumb statement.
There is a difference between following the league, and being a fan of a team that has done quarterback development before and knowing what it looks like day in and day out.

So no, not dumb at all. We know defense and running backs, QBs not so much.

This time last year he was calling people pessimistic assholes for not believing Matt Barkley would be elite. Now it's for not believing Trubisky will be. He just proclaims every QB he wants to be elite as elite, and until they prove otherwise it's you that's the **** for not accepting it.

If I could fk myself I would, save me a lot of money. Some people's glasses are half full and some are half empty. You like bitching and being negative and pretend you are critically endowed. Well friend I am the one who judges fairly and based on what I see. I have made plenty of posts on good things done and bad. I see both sides and you see only one. I have not seen you make even one post on any of the positive stuff we have done or are doing. We did not draft the QB you wanted and you hold a grudge. PS. yes I believe. I do not have any proof on the future.

Lol the weirdo saying the Bears are going to make a run in 2 years. What GM is allowed to have a 5 year rebuild, insane.

How young are you? Just start watching football? The bears have been losers for 30 years, and now suddenly the GM with one of the worst records in Bears history is going to get these Bears to the super bowl miraculously? How did the Bears do that?

Coaching and systems have been used to excuse disappointing QB play for the last eight years. As long as people's emotional investment in the QB exceeds their ability to be objective, this won't change, and any pointing it out will be met with hostility and name calling.

An excuse??? You literally have the Rams and Goff to look at from last year. How the **** are coaching and QB play not related. You are sitting here making knee jerk reactions proclaiming your objective opinions to be better than someone else's.

All right lets not make things up. I said I believe with time and a full camp that Barkley could possibly become a NFL starting QB. That he was thrown onto a impossible situation at the last minute. I still think he would be a nice backup QB. I would have kept Barkley and his contract over Glennon and his. I would rather of had Barkly starting this season until Trubs was deemed ready to start.

anyone that tells you Trubisky is a bust is pulling it out of his or her ass. No one knows yet. Just as the same of guaranteeing greatness from him.

Being objective, you can see him getting better week by week. His ability to call out protections and get people to jump off the line is extremely encouraging. His throwing issues in the detroit game was a rookie trying to do too much with not enough experience. In some ways this is a positive because you learn from mistakes.

I don't think Fox is ruining him. I think Trubisky is too smart for that.

He will still be learning even into next year. It is just a matter of where his ceiling is. I don't think we have come close to it, but time will tell.

Any "guarantees" by fans either for or against him is just football stupid and being a meatball.

Let's keep it real here. Barkley was terrible with us - extremely bad. He did not impress his new coach or GM either in SF and their QB situation going into this season was not good. You said last year that Barkley should be our starter this year because he "passed your eye test." Az has had QB issues this year and he has not seen the field. He's lucky to be in the league. I would have kept Hoyer over Glennon.

Why are people still arguing over who should have been the back up quarterback?

Sad as it is to say, but when it comes to moving the offense down the field, Hoyer has been the best Bears QB over the last couple of seasons.

Because what I said before, even though WestCoast took exception to it, is true.

OP is not questioning Mitchell Trubisky, he’s questioning if anyone on the Bears payroll will bring in the right coach for Trubisky.

Well I'm kind of questioning both but I am definitely more worried about the coaching search. They are obviously linked though.
