So I heard Barry Melrose on ESPN 1000 yesterday and he was asked about the shit going on around the league. The hosts basically told him they were diehard hockey fans and and they couldn't understand why the league let this get out of hand. Melrose basically said that ratings are way up this year and any publicity is good publicity. He said his phone has been ringing every 15 minutes to do an interview and sounded proud of that.

Is this the attitude of the league now? Fucking ****** Melrose.
