Ever notice how the TV broadcasters always go to commercial or follow some random player skating to the bench when there is a scrum going on? Madano is right that Bettman's orders as to how the TV coverage is supposed to look is why the ratings suck.

Last I heard the ratings have been very good for this playoffs. Maybe just because of all these dirty hits and shenanigans. The "hurf durf hockey has fighting and blood" crowd are probably behind the increase. Hopefully some of the people who have tuned in for the violence end up staying after they realize that hockey itself can be damn entertaining even without the side-show antics.

This fucking game is still making me feel sick... **** the yotes, **** Arizona, **** Torres, Smith, Shanny, Bett, the whole bunch. If shit keeps going at this rate the only players left on the ice will be a bunch of hack ass goons and pussies like Mike Smith. Can you imagine how totally fucking awesome the NHL would be to watch if it was just uncoordinated giants taking slappers at goalies for 60 minutes? Fucking atrocious.

I think he was calling him out, and would have fought him. At that point with all the other shit and the cheap shot to Sharp just before, crawford was inching his way down the ice. Had the period not been over he'd have been tagged with a penalty as he was well beyond the red line.

No, the Friday meeting was changed per a request from the NHLPA and Torres. Had nothing to do with the NHL. They wanted an in person meeting today.

I meant to add that Torres and the NHLPA moved it to Friday so they can see if Hossa can play game 4 or not.

Fighting back would have had them short handed. Everytime they started to get something the Yotes took a penalty that wasn't called. Listen to Toews Presser after the game. It's fucking SPOT ON!

I thought Kane played well, and I'm not his biggest fan. Sure, the final goal started on a turnover from him trying to deke around a few guys, but Crawford also let in a weak goal. My main issue with the game was the Hawks didn't really fight back. I don't mean jumping Torres, but after that first period, the only time we saw life from the Hawks was at the end of the 2nd, and when the Yotes scored so the Hawks needed to pick it up. After they went ahead, they seemed to have no life in a sense of wanting to dominate IMO. They were way to conservative instead of pushing the pace, and that maybe Q's coaching style, but it wasn't that fun of a game to watch after...

A big reason was the line juggling that Hossa's absence necassitated. Q started throwing all kinds of shit out there and it fucked a lot of people up. Kaner was at center, left wing, and right wing all within the same period. I don't care what anyone says, that shit is not easy to deal with.

I love Kane. And to be honest, most of our team didn't play well last night (especially the PP ughhhh) but I saw the end coming when Kane lost that puck in OT when surrounded by the 3 Yotes.

Didn't you know that its the cool thing to do, if you aren't a Hawks fan of course. Even JR an admitted Hawks fan was doing it several weeks ago. Crow is not his own worst enemy, Q playing a backup for 5 or more games in a row is the real enemy.

Please direct those comments to Mike Kitchen. I still can't figure out why Sharp is on a point (other than his ability to one time the shit out of the puck). HE allowed two pucks to leave the zone during the PP. Keith, Hammer, or Oduya wouldn't have let that happen.

They're ordered to go to commercial almost without regard to what's happening. CSN is more worried about making money than allowing a broadcast to be done right. They barely had a chance to show what Bollig did to Torres when they had to cut back to the game.

If you want to show a sponsor name...fine, show it, get it off of my screen, and let me watch the game on an un-compressed screen. I don't give a flying shit about the first inning score between the Dodgers and the Rockies.
