Ever notice how the TV broadcasters always go to commercial or follow some random player skating to the bench when there is a scrum going on? Madano is right that Bettman's orders as to how the TV coverage is supposed to look is why the ratings suck.

Did they show Crawford calling out smith or did they go to commercial since the period was over? Smith is such a fucking pussy. He took a cheap shot at Sharp.

They kind of showed that. Not right away, but later on. They were enjoying showing the Torres hit though. Keenan changed gears and got more harsh later in the broadcast too. The other guy with him was a fucking idiot though. I really wish they would have just reblasted the CSN feed instead of wasting money putting their own crew on it. NBC blows. They glitch a lot during play. The announcers suck and are heavily northeast based (Doc), they employ shit heads like Dillsbury and Penis-head...I could go on and on...

Since I don't live there anymore, I see nearly every game on tv. CSN, NBC, WGN (rebroadcast), all the games on Center Ice from various carriers. They all do the same thing, which tells me the league wants it that way.

I thought Kane played well, and I'm not his biggest fan. Sure, the final goal started on a turnover from him trying to deke around a few guys, but Crawford also let in a weak goal.



My main issue with the game was the Hawks didn't really fight back. I don't mean jumping Torres, but after that first period, the only time we saw life from the Hawks was at the end of the 2nd, and when the Yotes scored so the Hawks needed to pick it up. After they went ahead, they seemed to have no life in a sense of wanting to dominate IMO. They were way to conservative instead of pushing the pace, and that maybe Q's coaching style, but it wasn't that fun of a game to watch after...

The Friday meeting I bet is to see if Hossa can play in game 4. Which is fucking bullshit because the Hawks didn't do that to see if Smith could play after Shaw "charged" him.

Fighting back would have had them short handed. Everytime they started to get something the Yotes took a penalty that wasn't called. Listen to Toews Presser after the game. It's fucking SPOT ON!

No, the Friday meeting was changed per a request from the NHLPA and Torres. Had nothing to do with the NHL. They wanted an in person meeting today.
