Bolland had more shifts, but they were a lot shorter, 35 seconds per shift. That can be attributed to Q's line matching, only two other players skated shorter shifts than Bolland--that would be Mayers and Frolik.

I mean... if Morrison, in his first game (mind you I didn't think he was all that great but I'm ok with giving him an "Adjustment period bye") is the center with the most even strength time, well.. that just rings a WTF bell for me.

Relax.... I was just pointing out that there wasn't much special teams time to go around, so it wouldn't make much of a difference in the TOI. I'm curious to see whether Q uses Morrison on the PK tonight, assuming the Hawks are shorthanded. Either way, a giant WTF. Morrison sucks. That's not going to change here. In a couple weeks he'll be on the fourth line with Mayers and Brunette.

Hossa too.... but Bolland even more so. They bring in this old, washed up has-been and he gets to play with Hossa and Sharp, while Bolland is stuck with the rookies? Unreal.

Morrison is obviously not the answer to center depth. What makes me scratch my head is moving Bolland down from the second line C to the third line C, and taking Kruger off of the C, and putting him on the wing, while sending Hayes back to Rockford.
