I simply do not like him as a person for reasons im not going to get into. What he does on the ice will not sway me into liking him even if he scored a cup winning goal.



**** it... im totally upset right now. There are only a few people I genuinely would never want or wanted in a Hawks jersey...Morrison is one of them. RK if Bertuzzi should be in jail (which I agree with) Morrison should be in there also as an accomplice. The current state of Canucks douchebagery and the dickness was born out of Cooke, Morrison and Bertuzzi.



I can't cheer for him no matter what. I'm shocked and upset that he is now a Hawk. I can't believe this has happened.



P.S. Not half way through writing this my boss called who is a season ticket Canucks fan and who never says a bad word about a current or ex Canucks player (we have good fights about that).....I was just laughed at and wowed that the Hawks would go after the prick ass. Even my boss agrees he is a dickhead.

The only thing I don't like about this move is that the piece moved was Connely--or rather, and AHL prospect.



I know they were looking for a D-man, but I wish it was Bickell shipped out. Hayes might have been invisible but he was a better fit than Bickell.



Other than that, I like this move. While I'm sure Q will give him time on the 2nd line, this should free up the move for Bolland to stay there when Toews gets back (unles Q is intentionally trying to tank the team). Morrison should work nicely on the 3rd or 4th line with Kruger (who's been Meh in the top-6) as the other center, and Mayers can play the wing.



I'm hoping there's more moves that will clear up our scratched roster logjam, though.

I don't see Toronto trading Schenn unless they get a young star back. Schenn is growing into a premier shutdown dman with a big shot and physical game. I don't see why Burke would want to trade him especially with his mantra of "tough and physical hockey".

What makes you think any of these guys are available? Teams in the playoff hunt won't be trading away any of their core pieces.
