I like what kruger could be. If Hayes needs ahl time why has kruger never had it? Kruger has amazing work ethic but he his hands are still a year or two behind. His skating has become much better though. No issues with kruger other than my opinion that if anyone has needed ahl time its him.

All of his game could use AHL time. More so he can put on some muscle mass than anything else. He is completely outmatched physically in almost every battle. He has good hands and good sense, but just doesn't seem to be caught up to the NHL speed yet.

BAM!

I like Kruger but he's best served in the AHL right now. Not saying he can't still produce and be a productive low line center right now... but his skills need refining in the AHL. Notice I did not say his skills need an "OVERHAUL" just "REFINING".

This is exactly why I think Kruger should play ahead of Morrison. If not, send him to the AHL as well and put the centers as Toews, Bolland, Morrison/Shaw, Mayers.

Doesn't Mayers have a history at wing too? Is there room on the 4th line for Mayers if he moved to wing?

I also don't think many 2nd line Centers will be availabe, and if there are 4-5 teams will and can have a bidding war. Point is we won the Cup with Madden as the fourth line Center. We had DEPTH in that position. This gives them Depth, with NATURAL Centers, not stop gaps that really don't like playing Center.

We have a winner. 2nd line centers are few and far between in this league.

Why not? It wasn't as if Morrison is a 2nd line center anymore. Kruger has played well so far this season, why waste him on the 4th line?

Again, if we aren't going to give these young guys quality minutes to develop then put them in the AHL. Like we should have done with Barker.

I miss Barker.............................

I'd rather have Mayers on the 4th line then Morrison as I've seen Mayers play more and he's always giving 110%.

Any guy who has the option of playing in the AHL (i.e. rookies) and if they are averaging less then 12-13 minutes a game, then let them play in the AHL where they can keep getting better.

TSN Rumors has Tim Thomas to Chicago for Victor Stalberg from the Boston Globe. I don't see it happening but it would be crazy!

It's a flithy disgusting rumor that Stu started this morning while jerking off in the shower (not sure if the water was running). Now some dumb ass on the interwebs has latched onto it and it's making its rounds.

Here are 2 simple reasons why I don't think it works for Chicago.

1) What happens to Crawford? He becomes our 2.6 million dollar back up for the remainder of this year and next? Talk about taking a step back for Crawfords development. Emery would have to be waived which is would be fine obviously or delt to the Bruins also as they would need a back up for Rask.

2) We can't afford to deal any left wingers who have production value!!!! They just can't unless another producing LW comes back in return. Who takes Stalbergs spot? Creating a bigger hole where there already is one. And Bowmans not going to deal one of his prodigies this soon after aquiring him.

Here are a few simple reasons why it doesn't work for Boston

1) They are legit cup contenders again and why would you change the culture of a team that is pretty much in tact from last years cup winning team for a LWer that probably doesn't fit into Bostons style? Boston is better off having Rask and Thomas for the remainder of the season then to shop Thomas in the offseason while re-siging Rask. Would be horrible dumb timing to let go of Thomas. Boston leads the league in goals for. Do they really need an offensive addition? Also Thomas is a major fan favorite in Boston..not sure that one would go over well with the fans right now.

2) Marchand, Lucic are their top 2 lwers and they aren't being bumped for Stalberg. Boston runs 2 scoring lines and 2 checking lines Stalberg doesn't fit on a Boston checking line.

Stupid rumor.

Obama is still PO'd and told the bruins to trade that guy or risk the state of Massachusetts losing it's federal funding.
