Not far from 127th and Archer
Not a 2nd line center but it would allow Kruger to go to the 4th and allow Bolland to stay on the 2nd.

Would suck if it means Shaw or Hayes is going back down though.

Case in point, we traded a minor league player that would never get a chance here for a productive 3rd line C.

if he plays on the 3rd/4th line he'll fit better than Madden did.

In the words of Eddie No, I'll stop it right there... after one page in this thread. So not only is a past his prime Morrison the 2nd line center, he's the 2nd unit point option on the PP. That's clearly Q pandering to Junior.

Pretty much what I feared when Morrison was brought in. Maybe if we are lucky he will get a 15 game try out like Brunnette got being our 1st line winger until its noticable that he is slow old and has lost his hands. One can only hope.

Morrison wasnt horrible tonight for his first game. But expectations of him being a 2nd line center and a 2nd unit pp guy. Yup instant **** up that in a lot of ways looked like pandering to Bowman. Wrong team to do it against. Not that Morrison cost us the game though.

I would have been fine with him on the third line Center, and keeping Bolland at the second line.

Kruger-Bolland-Shaw

what the **** is that? Kruger is a winger now? Send him to Rockford and let him develop. He needs it more than Hayes

Bowmans pride will never allow Kruger to be sent down. Kruger has actually become less interesting and productive as the season has moves on. This his real first long NHL season and its starting to show. Hes 21 years of age and could be something special if the team decided to condition him properly and get him farm time. Its not going to happen at this point and he will be ruined and out of the NHL in 2 years time and back to the Swedish league.

I dont know what Bowman and Q are doing with some of these players..but they are NHL GMs and Coachs these guys so whatever.

Not shocked Morrison was used as a second line center..its what I feared most and it is coming true. Keep sticking it to Bolland guys..I am sure he will repay that favor someday. Idiots.

Its one game in with Morrison. We will see how things move forward but I dont like the idea of re-creating 2 lines this late in the season with the aquisition of one over the hill player. I cant see this as being a good thing if it continues.

Are you shitting me?

By my count, he completed only 1 pass in 5! The rest went straight to a Canuck!

Now, yeah, it's one game and I'm not going to bail on him yet (and no, he didn't cost us the game), but yeah, he was horrible.

I should be the first person bitching about him lord lol. Honestly his defensive game wasn't that bad for his 1st game. But that's why he should be 3rd lining not 2nd.

Ill give him more games even though i still don't want him in a hawks jersey.

Agreed that he should be 3rd line and needs more looks, but his game was bad.

his game was very bad. I'm willing to bet Q has him as our second line center again tonight. Not like Bolland has been that hot for us lately anyway.

oh wait...he has!

Precisely. I don't know if it's Q playing favorites or pandering to the Bowmans, but I've got slight hope the SOMEONE will step up and tell the management/coaching to stuff their politics up their ass and the players to go out there and win.

Hell, if Toews can call out the team for not hating to lose enough and describing the Red Carpet and "Shenanigans", he might be the man for the job.

I don't know what else Bolland has to do to prove that he is our second line center

Honestly with the way Q game coaches we don't have a #1,2 or 3 line. Guys are moving around on a period by period basis.

You might start on Toews line and end up with Mayers.

There were only 2 PPs the whole game, so.
SO? Toews is on both PK and PP where I think morrison was only on 2nd line PP. (also dumb)

That could be an extra minute for Toews. I was just wondering if it was even more level than what it showed. fucking get a hug already.

I mean... if Morrison, in his first game (mind you I didn't think he was all that great but I'm ok with giving him an "Adjustment period bye") is the center with the most even strength time, well.. that just rings a WTF bell for me.

He did lead in even-strength.

17:20 - Morrison

16:46 - Toews

16:06 - Bolland

Total TOI is different.

19:10 - Toews

18:56 - Morrison

17:44 - Bolland

No one wants to question toews hand? Might be a reason why Morrison played more minutes. Maybe. I have no idea but it would help explain it.

EVEN SO MORE MINUTES THAN BOLLAND... It's a fucking enigma to me. He wasn't playing well, and with as short of a leash as Q has with everyone else, he continued to run him out there to the point of top minutes... just weird.

Alright, you got me curious so I went and looked, it isn't AS bad I I thought but still bad. Bolland had more shifts at 30. Morrison 26 Toews 24, so that might be due to his hand or something. but still. just odd to me. Maybe had 16 and he scored a freakign goal. I know you don't run your 4th line out there more than the 10 minutes they got, but sweet jesus.
