With the Panthers going to Game 7 with the Devils, and just the fact he has put Florida in the playoffs with his offseason additions, McDonough should be hoping people aren't noticing that he fired this guy. The guy who put a Stanley Cup Champion team in Chicago.

On top of that the Dale Tallon replacement (Stanbo, Scooter, Scottie's boy) has a team that has had a 1st round playoff exit two years in a row. Please don't go for three!

With all of the assholio sports columnists in this wonderful city who are constantly picking garbage out of the air and writing about it, not one of them will have the balls to write about this. They would have to face the wrath of the allmighty himself, not to mention the loss of their annual beginning of the season invite to dinner at the Stadium Club and viewing of the game in the Grinch suite.

This story deserves attention from the local and or national media. Am I right, or just a bitter Hawks fan who should just forget about it and plan my summer vacation?

People are noticing. McDonough is an ASSCLOWN!!

Local Media is scared to death of being black listed to do anything rash! Cowards.

Burnside wrote an interesting article today. I only read tid bits of it though.

Can we start hailing Dale again?

I don't think it's a Hail Dale, verses what a dumb fucking asshole McDonough really is. Proof is again out in the first round. Even more proof in his "replacement" of a guy that has no fucking clue what he's doing. Stan "the man" Bowman.

Todays "exit" interviews between the Coach and GM are even MORE fucking proof. They aren't even on the same page in their exit interviews.

This organization is a fucking mess more so now than it was the day Bill passed away. No question!

Why am I not shocked? They haven't been on the same page since Stan came on board as GM. I'm still standing by my theory that Stan through McDick were getting their greasy mits on too many on ice decisions the last 2 seasons. For that reason I am slightly less harsh on Q than other fans are (even though a few mistakes are on his shoulders). I have been feeling the politics and distance btw the front office and the bench from my living room sofa. It's not hidden very well.

They have to dismiss Q for the sakes of getting a puppet behind the bench. Stans well protected Q is not. It's going to get worse..watch and see.

Two words.......... Josh Mora

And why would anyone question Stan's ability to recruit, sign and retain key hockey players. Don't they teach that while getting your

accounting degree?

Josh is a pretty good example of why when you work for the organization, you don't speak out against them. That said I'd bet any of the four scribes now (least main ones) would definitely feel back lash if they asked the wrong or inappropriate questions.

Josh's big mistake was he worked for a station the Hawks have controlling interest in. Even worse most in the organization had zero clue even after it was done.

Really fucking sad, we waited decades for an elite team, and now the front office is throwing it down the drain because of politics and stupidity.

**** Rocky as well for allowing it to happen.

I think it would take not only Tallon winning GM of the year, but the Panthers having a deep playoff run for any waves to be made about McDonough firing Tallon, at least in these parts. Nationally, of course the media has free reigns to put those questions out there.

I think there's some in the "metric" side of hockey that have downplayed Florida's success all year as "lucky." I would love to see Florida put together a deep playoff run if nothing more to validate that there's something to be said for creating chemistry (however that's done) which apparently Tallon is pretty good at fostering, even if it means opening other people's checkbooks to do it.

I'd like to see an article here on IHN that could timeline this whole Tallon debacle and give a good rundown on all the trangressions of the McD and Bowman regime so far. I know some of you have inside dirt, so instead of dropping vague hints and tidbits here and there, why not just compile it all in one place. This sort of thing would never fly on the O-boards and this site was created as a alternative to that, so why not run with that.

It seems Hawks fans largely fall into two camps, those that think Tallon was a disaster and it's all his fault the Cup winner got dismantled and then the other camp that despise the McD and Bowman cabal as backstabber's and Tallon was a saintly martyr. I'd like to think the truth is somewhere in the middle.

I really don't think that prick could be embarrassed by anything, he believes in his own bullshit way too much. Agreed about the press conferences, Stans was a joke. He really doesn't inspire confidence and always gives the impression to be that he is just rehashing what he heard daddy say. This team needs and deserves a proper GM but while McD is around all we will get is puppets like Stan. Everyone on here can see glaring holes in the team so why can't our GM.

Haugh was critical of management/ the organ-I-zation in his write up of the presser. McDonut will care more aboot that than DTs success.

Unfortunately for Hawk fans I don't believe the truth is in the middle. One step further if Dudley and Tallon had NOT helped Stanley out of his mess with the Cap this team would be in a Worse situation than they are now. Those two helped aleviate a LOT of the Salary Cap issues right out of the gate.
