Actually winning fills the seats in Florida. You just have to keep winning to keep filling the seats. They are fickle as shit down here.
That's what I said. They support their college teams, but not necessarily their pro teams unless they are winning. I still haven't gotten the answer to my question as to how one can speak with such authority about budgets and money, and then admit they know nothing about ownership or their intent.
Perhaps people have forgotten what it was like in the pre-cup days in Chicago when W3 didn't want to spend money, and no player wanted to play here. Khabi required a large contract to come and play for this once losing organization so we could gain some sort of credibility. Now that we have it in Chicago, everyone (with the exception of a few) seems to think that it has always been a destination for players. For those who don't think they can build through the draft, (which he did here) if you don't build through the draft, you end up like Toronto.
