Nash is not over-rated IMO. He's a perrenial all-star stuck on a shitty team.

How aboot Kane + Hammer for Staal in a sign and trade (who just turned down 10+ year extension from the Penguins). I'd do that in a heart beat. Not sure how the numbers would work, but theres our number 2 center.

With his injury history? Really? He's going to Carolina to play with his Brother. Watch.

Two GM's have now stated Kane is not available.

I think he might want to be a first line center if he just turned down a 10-yr deal.

Staal's missed aboot the same amount of games Toews has over the last 3 years. A tendon lack from a skate and a broken hand. Toews has had concussion issues. Which one causes you the most pause?

And seriously if we are going to float dumb ass Kane trade rumors ideas it might as well be one that brings us a number 2 center.

For the record I don't beleive Kane is getting traded. I'm just jumpy, it's draft day, and it has yielded some trades in the past.

And I think at 23 he sees a chance to sign a couple UFA deals over the next 10 years (and earn lots of $$$$$$$$) before he hangs them up.

I thought he missed half the season year before last and 1/3rd of last year. Just risky with a player who was one of TWO Hawks that played all 82 games last year.

And no way is Kane going anywhere. JJ is an idiot.

If Kane is going to Pittsburgh, they better be adding + to it..... Staal for Kane straight up is a steal for Pittsburgh. Kane playing with Crosby or Malkin, in the Eastern Conference, probably puts up 100 points.

Might put up a 100pts here if they actually use SLOT ALLOCATION.

Slot allocation? What's that?

But isn't slot allocation the rotation of (the right) players standing in the high slot?

It refers to playing players when they belong, and where they can be successful. Not out of position, where they are more likely to fail.

Ding! Meaning Kane should always be on the RW. Why, because that's his SLOT!

Slot allocation for the Hawks refers to job security. It's when Kitchen is the designated driver for Q when they head to the "boats" so Q can drop some coin in the one armed bandits(slot machines).

That's what Q uses when generating his lines.
