That said, why the 8:30 start for game 4? Not that I'm complaining or anything... I get off work at 8 that day, lol

And while we're at it, who's idea was it to put Game 7 on Mother's Day??? *facepalm*

I have a hard time believing that there will be a game 7. That's why.

Why the 8:30 start on Friday?

It is so they can have an early game / late game national TV on NBC Sports Network...the old Versus / aka Outdoor Life / aka the network hockey was stuck with after Buttman assed up the relationship with BSPN.

We had a game start late like this vs Calgary in 2009...I came over and did the Cubs game and the Hawks game in one day...if weather predictions improve, I will try to do that this year too! That day in 2009 was incredible...the Cubs won in 14 inning on a walk off tater and the Hawks came back for an OT win over the Flame outs.

6 pm CST game. I'll miss the 1st period, and some of the second. No way I'm missing her pitch after all the practice hours we've put in together. Her team and pitching is dominating the local league. They are undefeated and she is averaging @ 8-9 SO per game over 4-5 innings.

Damn, I'll be in NY for the Friday and Sunday games. I'm sure I'll be packing a Hawk shirt or three for the trip.

Hawks are 15/4 odds to win the cup...just behind Pitt's 7/2 odds.

My favorite teams
 1. Portland Timbers
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
Can't wait for this to start. We can't take these guys lightly but I like the matchup. Here's hoping for a good matchup and a good start for our Jennings-winning goaltenders.

P.S. anyone else doing the Beard-a-thon?

Bolland and Emery are ruled out in tomorrow's game.

Both are day-to-day, and Q thinks they'll be back "soon"

We might be heading up too. Just need to move a couple of personally scheduled items, and gives me a reason to visit family in the area.
