And Larry Bismark was not booted. Peter SOLD the Company.
Interesting.

My recollection is that Peter did not sell the company, he only sold the contract for United Center operations to Levy. Bismarck is still a large company and Peter is still president.

As to why Peter/Bismarck sold the rights to Levy, I can only offer info that i have heard from former insiders who weren't 100% positive about the reliability of their information. So we can call this gossip. But given the sequence of events, it doesn't take a genius to figure out what probably happened given what transpired in the Wirtz family after the old man died.

Peter owned Bismark out right. While the name may still exist, the operations were sold. Along with the employees who were grandfather claused in for 1 year. The info I offer is from several who worked for both organizations. As for what transpired I was actually there for part of it.

It also included Fandamonium and if you noticed they were doing the transition all throughout the end of the playoffs the year before last. As the deal finalized after the season expired when the Hawks were ousted by the Redwings. Bismark controlled every aspect of retail sales in the United Center.
