If you could only beat the Lions though........

I will actually give you some credit as your Lions have had our $ the last couple years. Hmm, injuries, coaching, talent ..... Yes, you have had a brief success against us. Guess what? It ends quickly for you as the Bears are going to destroy you THIS season.

Good Luck the rest of the way!

Not a problem. You talk a lot of smack for a fan of a team that has only reached mediocre in the past few years. It's kinda like Cleveland fans talking smack. Might want to wait until your team actually wins something...were you alive the last time they did? Lol

thing is, cluelessman, no one was talking any Lions smack, until, as always, your were getting your ass handed to you in a debate, and as your fall back had to incite the whole Lions fan thing again. You just can't help yourself.

You've earned the Lion rhetoric bud, so own it. Doubtful its going away anytime soon, unless you do.

The sad truth is that the Pack could be paying Rodgers 50 million a season, and they would still be better than the Bears.

Rodgers' new deal isn't that bad for the Pack. His cap hit doesn't jump above 30 million until the year after next. Two years from now, the NFL salary cap will likely be pushing 200 million. His dead cap number could be a billion dollars. The Pack will never cut him so it's irrelevant.

I could be wrong, but isn't the value of the salary cap collectively bargained based on profits more or less?

Maybe, just maybe, Cousins is overpaid.

Bingo. Would not at all be surprised if, after this season, Cousins will be known as the WORST QB in the NFCN. Trubisky certainly already shows a better skillset, he's just unproven

Oh come on now- Trubs may wind up good, But Cousins has 3 years as a starter, and has beaten the bears all time best single season passing record every year.
The bears have never had a passer with a rating better than Cousins worst year as a starter.

I am all for being hopeful, but Cousins is pretty damn solid and will likely be vastly improved this year with a stronger team to support him.
