But most NL pitcher's bat just as bad as an AL pitcher would. Many bat below .100. It isn't as big of an advantage, not as big as a DH over a bench player anyway.

This year:
AL pitchers hit: 105/134/120/254
NL pitchers hit: 143/177/176/353
AL DH's hit: 252/332/425/758
NL DH's hit: 218/286/366/652
Now granted its a small sample size but the difference in OPS is very very similar to be honest. Difference in wOBA is probably similar too, so it leads me to honestly believe that there is no advantage to either side.
