Hicks would be another solid addition. I like Pace's approach of filling multiple holes with solid players on reasonable deals. If we can land Hicks, we'll be in good position to draft the best possibly play marker at #11 -- regardless of position.

Hicks and Eddie Goldman on the DL with Trevethlan and McPhee at LB would be nice. Our D is starting to take shape.

Re-Sign Zach Miller, Montgomery, and Jenkins

Sign Hicks, Anderson, and Morris Claiborne

Trade back with the Jets for their #20 and a 2nd rounder

1. Sheldon Rankins - DE/DT
2. Su'a Cravens - S
2. Hunter Henry TE
3. Scooby Wright ILB
4. Joe Haeg OT
5. Cody Kessler QB

I'm sure the best TE in a weak ass draft class lasts untill our 2nd second round draft pick

Assuming you're right, I could get on board with:

Re-Sign: Zach Miller, Montgomery, Jenkins

Sign Hicks, Anderson, Claiborne, and Gresham

Trade back with Jets for their #20 and a 2nd

1. Sheldon Rankins - DE/DT
2. Su'a Cravens S
2. Shilique Calhoun OLB
3. Scooby Wright ILB
4. Joe Haeg OT
5. Cody Kessler QB

Can't let Hicks leave Chicago tomorrow. And I don't think Rankins is lasting til 20. I'd probably be willing to take him at 11. He'll go 12-16, if the Bears don't take him.

It wouldn't shock me one way or the other. I could see him being there at 20 and I could also see him going before that. 20 is a realistic spot for him, IMO.

If we sign Hicks.....It opens up all sorts of options in the Draft as far as drafting talent as opposed to need.......I'm likein' Pairing Hicks and Eddie Goldman as DEs.....both necessitating double teams.......now who do we put in the middle as a NT?! Will Sutton or someone else that can penetrate...?! All sorts of possibilities especially now that he have someone in the middle at ILB...

Any decent Safeties left in FA?!
