He can say whatever he wants, but Alshon ceased being effective when Brandon Marshall left.

Jeffries is a walking waste of talent. He is one of those guys that had everything given to him, and has all the talent in the world but he pisses it away with his shit work ethic and attitude. He has like a 55% catch rate for his career. He had 2 good years with Jay and BMarsh. The rest is garbage.

Just double up on JEFFRIES all game and put Roquan on Ertz that'll shut em up / and down

.... maybe somebody can 'accidentally' step on those steel fingers.

I take that back, Sorry

?

For the love of god, if anyone should be doubled its Ertz not Jeffery. Zach Ertz just set the single season league record for catches by a TE.

Don't get the problem with what he said...just because a team drafted you doesn't mean you have to fall in love with the city.

I think it is more common to see a player who gets a second contract end up on a different team than to sign with the team that drafted them, so why wouldn't he love the second city he played for more than the first?

Having said that I can't wait to see him get 2 catches for 35 yards and no TD's. Fuller gonna lock him up and Mack, Roq Smitty, and NardFlo gonna have Foles running all game.

Bears fans are the jilted ex-girlfriend.

"We drafted you but you don't love us?!"

It cuts extra deep considering the lack of great WRs in this franchise's history. You finally draft one that's good, and SURPRISE, he hates you

Only issue anyone has is his choice to rip Chicago rather than just being mature and giving the bland "glad bears drafted me and gave me a shot, I am enjoying my time in Philly now" response. He's choosing to act like a twat

Ehhhhhhh not quite. I just thought there was more of a mutual respect there than anything. I'm cool with seeing that's not the case since we're in a way better spot than when he was here.

He moves on to another team. Team / city embrace him—gets to earn a, be part of a Super Bowl winning team. The Chicago era he lived through was brutal-and his injuries limited him, and so, bitter, jaded, starved for what we gave now team/city didn’t endear each other to each other...

His comments are perfectly fair.

No worries.

Now, as we whip Philly this weekend, I am more inclined to listen to T Burton’s comments on our team/ city / chemistry vs what Jeffrey has to say.

I just can’t wait to see. No need to balk at shit talk. Not when we walk them out of town via stellar play!

And... BOOM!

Respectfully and imo, the real BIGGER issue is that Alshon is a WR we drafted, who turned out to be very good, who did not want to be here. I would still prefer that he wanted to be here. Him being a ***** now doesn't change his level of talent, I still think highly of his talent.

I can understand those comments from a player that was done wrong by a team. The Bears never did Jeffries wrong. Ya, it didn't work out while he we here, but the fans and the team didn't treat him poorly. He had a offer on the team, he thought he was worth more so he went into the open market and signed with Philly. Good for him, but a little respect would be great. Lost a lot of respect for him with those comments. Sorry, you can make excuses for him if you want.
