I own and enjoy pretty much the entire catalog. The post Waters stuff is really the only stuff that I don't like. There is a touch of the early stuff like the soundtrack to the film More that I can't get into and the Final Cut isn't that good of album, but I would say a goo 80% of it I enjoy.

I saw them at jabberwocky in LA in '92 right before they went big. I was underwhelmed.

I like their first few albums. Wish you were here is one of my favorite songs, too.
I've just recently started listening to them a bit more. I'm 27 so I didn't grow up during their time, really. I only actually own one album, Dark Side of the Moon on SACD. It sounds pretty cool on my 7.1 system.

They've got a few ok songs too and the rest is meh. Their fans are pretty annoying.

That's how I feel. I saw a perfect circle open for mars Volta and it was a weird show because the tool fanbase.

Yeah, I can play quite a few instruments. I wouldn't brag about my skill, I'm only confidant with piano. I was an audio engineer for many years, and I still get gigs now and then, and design and build different audio systems. Like I had said a few times in older threads, if you go to different movie theaters in northern IL, there is a good chance I was contracted out to build, design or repair the sound systems at some point, and that you sat in something I worked on.
