You can criticize, not give a **** about patriotism, love or be neutral about the USA. In other places you can be jailed, beaten, tortured or killed for disagreeing with your government or its policies, for voting for the wrong candidate in an election, not actively supporting or being indifferent to your government.
That said, if you want to burn a flag or raise the flag on a flagpole in your frontward every day, you've got the freedom to do either. If you wanna criticize someone for burning the flag or being a patriot that's your right, too. I draw the line when your freedom of speech turns into action, force, etc., to stop another from exercising their freedom of expression. That's not acceptable to me.

And seriously. You guys need to change that flag to something a little more subtle. When you use it for window curtains its really hard to decorate a room around it. Other countries have it right with three colored bars. Thats all you really need. Im not saying the canadian flag is better. That thing is just fucking weird with a leaf in the middle of it it may actually be too subtle. We need to combine our flags maybe? Have no idea why we arent one big official country anyways. That border between us is bullshit.

Dont bring false history teachings into this mikita!! Usa is one of the biggest propaganda machines on earth. Great country, great people always love going to the states and always love when yanks visit up here but **** man you really can feel the propaganda machine in full effect sometimes when you cross the boarder into the states. Same as up here but it is much more subtle. My very first memory as a kid crossing the boarder were your highway signs. Some dudes head was all over the fucking place. I was like " whos this dude he must be important to have his head all over highways signs..he must be a dictator".
