We're in "flinging shit to a wall" phase with o-line.

Cervenka initially redshirted as a defensive tackle in 2015, and he switched over to offensive line in 2016. He was Clemson’s backup center the following year before switching yet again to guard in 2018, when he became the team’s starter at the position. He was a second-team All-ACC selection his final year with the Tigers in 2019.

Cervenka had the highest PlayStation Player Impact Ranking in all of college football at the start of the 2019 season, per ESPN, and analyst Dan Orlovsky said this about him that year:

“When Cervenka was on the field, Clemson was twice as efficient moving the ball than when he was off. … With Clemson down 16-7 at halftime against Syracuse, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence out with an injury, Dabo Swinney inserted then-backup Cervenka into the offensive line for the rest of the game. Clemson would come back to win, with Cervenka leading the way for running back Travis Etienne.”

The 6-foot-3, 325-pound Cervenka never looked back.
Big Cat was a converted DT. So based on a sample size of one it's a scientific fact that Cervenka will be a dominant, ten year starter. Mark it.

I don't think he's been exposed to what may be a large portion of the NFL player demographic. I reckon there are a lot of players who grew up in low-income urban environments. The way he looked around at the other players after being drafted made me think he wasn't going to make it.
What does that have to do with reads and ball placement?

Lots of angst over a temp.

In the mod forum planning your ban
It's about revenue. Look at the jersey sales. Simply having him on the roster will put more butts in the seats in Jacksonville. He still has a huge following in the state of Florida.
Then I’d make him a coach or something. Him taking up a roster space helps no one

Teven White is out for his 10th practice.

I thought the Bears Covid thing was a false positive? Why are they all still out.

I’m not a Tebow fan but I think there is this off sort of weird mystical leadership quality to him that is super rare. Maybe it's me just looking for a way to rationalize this signing but I imagine Lawrence is a big part of it. Like Meyer wanting whatever Tebow has to rub off on him.

I honestly don't see the big deal in it.
It's camp. He makes it or not. BFD

Nobody goes to stadiums to "watch" coaches.. If he is on the roster and at least gets a few plays a game then his fans will spend $$ going to watch him..

Not saying I'd have signed the guy I thought he sucked then and he most likely still sucks now
The point is he isn't getting that shot because his skin color
It's his history with the coach
Are you saying coaches throughout the NFL only give second chances too their former white players? Or perhaps they just give guys they have worked with in the past opportunities?
Your point about making it to the NFL based on skin color is reasonable; I don't believe he'd be given a shot strictly based on his skin color. I think what frustrates people of color is that he doesn't experience the inherent bias against him that a hypothetical person of identical character and talent would experience if he were of color. Just look at some of the fake narratives that surfaced that allowed us to land Justin Fields. Even morons like Dan Orlovsky and his "Last in, first to leave" remarks, which are so far from the truth it's pathetic. But that is the world we live in, all of us have our own cross that we must bear, and sometimes it's not easy to see the cross that someone else might have to bear if we can't understand their journey.

In either case, Wilson reminds me of one of the fake Americans from the movie Spies Like Us:
